Where did that one come from?! It looks like it's some sort of encoded message.. binary, morse, something along those lines.

This is a bit obvious so I wouldn't be surprised if this has been posted but the numbers on the barcode from the picture posted bygamem8ker (N 37.1466 & W -115.4761) correspond to the filenames of the other two dev-kit photos. This seems like it could lead some where.

talkin it up

So...
"I am where you talk"
"If you're chatting with me, you're not chatting with me"
and
"Colonies work together"

Do you think there needs to be a new forum created or set up where all the colonies can communicate? Because we are really all over in our respective groups...just a thought. If we get a new forum going where it's exclusively colony talk, maybe he'll post something there...

So where are we now? Do we have any theories that are possible at this point or are we back at the beginning?

well, we're still somewhere, but the problem is I can't find a picture of the beware cover with a bar code or anything on it.

I think we have another zip code "02185" for braintree, mass. The number appears under the "Mar 1" in the Beware pic. I dont know if this means anything. I was trying to find another pic of the Beware comic. But i could not find one i coul denlarge to see a number under there.

i am not kidding with this, and it might have been a glitch, but a beekeeper buddy in my colony typed in "myspace" in the solution area, and we didn't get anything, but we moved up in rank (from 422 to 406)...can someone please confirm this?

There is definitely a smudge in the OC picture that is not in the original (or touched up for the supposed original). It read 19 or '9 (apostrophe 9). Look at these lightened pics:

Just want to look at this in a different light. It seems with the last one we overanalyzed the challenge and spent all this time trying to decode when the answer was much simpler. What if instead of all this zip code stuff that each picture means something and it all adds up to one phrase or sentence. What erally throws me off of the number stuff is the comic book. The number under the issue # is not something that was added. How long do you thing it would have taken this guy to find that number on that picture to use for this challenge so he could have a clue that leads to a zip code in Mass? Doesn't seem plausable especially when he just photoshopped the numbers to the other pictures. Also, so far the file names have all been red herrings. Thats not to say that will change but up until not it has been just random numbers. Back to the pictures. Here's what I think and maybe someone can expound on it. The order that the pictures were posted might be important also.
#1 was the 4 + 3 D = 7D or 70?
#2 10^3 + 10^3 = 2000
#3 flowers or poppies?
#4 maybe just beware
#5 Nevada or Area 51
#6 the inn is missing so how about in?
Also its possible #6 was posted before #5 and its ...in Nevada, maybe an address or something thats going down in Nevada for the Xbox 2 debut?
Thats what I think, maybe I'm wrong. Time will tell.

I think there's something we're missing with the letters.

One picture has an obvious 'D' written in.

Another has 'sCt' note the capital C...

In yet another, the vent holes form an E sort of...

Are these pics supposed to be considered in a particular order? Maybe each colony can only supply the answer for the pic they were given, and they need to be done in the proper order.

No, because then the colonies that did not receive pics could not answer.

How about...

The comic and poppies are red herrings.

4+3 = 7
sct = 728 (phone)
10^3 + 10^3 = 2000
coords = top - bottom = -78.3295

We have to make a number from those to translate into phonetics?

There's a long number on gamem8ker's myspace, which could be needed to be turned into phonetics too.
