What is PCGF anyways -- a group?
We're all members of the PC Gamer UK forum. PCGamer UK recently wrote an article on Perplex City and other ARPs, and although I haven't read it, it's generating a lot of interest in the scene
ARP? do you mean ARG.. ?? never heard of ARP
No, it was about alternate reality pies. They're like regular pies, except to get one you have to read clues hidden in e-mails to find addresses of bakeries. Its the latest new thing, I can't believe you haven't heard of them.
It was a typo...

My postman rides a rather fetching red bike, with a cute basket on the front.

had to leave for work before the post came, but I can now join the ranks of those who've dreamed about the parcel!
In my dream I was tucking into some curry when the postie arrived with two parcels packed in the style of amazon parcels- a sort of cardboard wrapping rather than a box. I got one of them open, and it contained a load of harback books- one called "The Bed Goblin" (!) and one called the "DiscWorld Dictionary" (by the way I got sick of Pratchett about halfway through the second of his books that I read, and that was about 10 years ago). there were other books in there, but I can't remember what they were, or what was in the other parcel.
But i'm quite proud to be among the dreamers. Maybe we should form a federation- [PCDF] or something

all i remember dreaming about last night was Egypt invading the UK, for unknown reasons. they had destroyed 10 Downing Street and were holding Tony Blair hostage.
can i still join the PCDF anyway?

I had a dream ages ago, before the parcel thing, about being kidnapped by Sente. I don't remember why, but he seemed civil enough (apart from imprisoning me in his house, obviously). It scared me. Lots. Glad to know I'm not the only one whose had random PC dreams
On another note-
WHERE'S MY PARCEL?!

Strange I had a dream as well last night, All of the postcards we had recieved so far and the contents of the parcel had secret messages on them written in ultra violet ink. So far this morning, I've been trying to think of a way of getting a light;)

methinks everyone should do something else to fill in the time until parcels arrive.. this is OVEROBSESSING

I've not yet dreamed of anything Perplex City related, which is strange considering the frequency with which I dream, and the amount of PC-related information churning away in my subconcious.
Still, every now and again I like to load myself up a good, legal blue and pretend I'm part of another reality. Word on the street is a new feather's in town, goes by the name of Perplex City.

I'm Potus and I am a Parcel Junkie I haven't slept in over 30 hours so I dreampt I was at home sleeping. It's 8:30AM now and the mail usually comes before 11. Can I make it until then???
FYI: Ultra-Violet lights
~ Optometrists have ultraviolet lights so they can dialate your pupils and look at the back of your retinas.
~ Some niteclubs use them too - to spot fake ID's.
Course I'm speccing on a spec from a dream.

A jiffy bag was being thrust thru my letterbox this morning, the postie was having a hard time it seemed, so I nearly fell out of my chair trying to get down there before he damages whatever Sente has to send me...
... unfortunately it was just some ebay stuff I ordered like a month ago - Grrr .... Here's to hoping for anything in tomorrows post

crazy. I had a parcel dream too!
it turned out to be a cutout of a Jack Russell terrier riding a two-piece cutout of a red tricycle.
And then we were invited to request a list of 20 items from Perplex City. Selecting the right 20 items would give us the answer about the structure of their dimension.
are all obsessed yet?

Damn you all talking about dreams, you've made me have one as well!
In mine the package was wrapped in white paper and tied with string. On the top there was a little brown label with my name on it, but strangely no address or anything, as if it had been delivered personally rather than posted. Inside was an assortment of videotapes (both the big ones and the little ones from video cameras), CDs, and DVDs. None of them were labelled and they were all in plain black cases. I was about to put one of the videos into the player to see what it was when I woke up.
