Matrix Reloaded

I was on the Matrix site today and saw this post from May 14th:

Quote:
After the film, it might be good to sniff around the official site. Tomorrow brings some new content to these parts. Dig deeper. Always deeper.

as well as this one from May 15th:

Quote:
THE MATRIX: RELOADED covers a lot of ground. The future brings sections on visual effects, the ships, the creatures, the stunts, and much more. All things evolve. For those that understand this, perhaps the following will be understood.

0xA3B1A428

For the above hex, you will need a fairly fast computer and graphics card. An appreciation of the Neb is not a prerequisite (but it helps).

I assume this is similar to the "password: steak" thing in the first matrix, but I couldnt stick around for all the credits when i saw it. Anyone play with this and/or have any luck?

-Danny

I stuck around for the credits, but didn't see anything ARG-ish, although I definitely could have missed something.

Longest. Credits. Ever.

I suppose I can say however, that I do know from an inside source that the Matrix producers were in fact considering doing an ARG at one point. As to what ever came of it, if anything, I have no idea.

We saw the 4:10 showing on 05.15 -- great seats! (no URL or password in the credits that I could see, altho' there was a highway billboard in the movie which said STEAK!)

Then we picked up "Enter the Matrix" for the PC. There is a hacker portion of the game, where we can open files. One of them says this:
Code:

Logged Activity:
www.thematrix.com  23631BE6
www.danielinstitute.com
Crack the codes at these websites.
> A Friend.

Also, the "computer" we are hacking is by:
Code:
www.omegahardwaresolutions.com
(c) Omega Hardware - 1999

Good Luck!

Interesting...

danielinstitute.com had an exceeded bandwidth error earlier. Now it says "under construction." odd.

omegahardwaresolutions.com says "BUSINESS TERMINATED." nothing in source or anything of interest as far as i can tell.

Google has neither of these cached, and the wayback machine has no records for either of them.

Running a WHOIS on danielinstitute.com yields:

Okay I'm trying to get into some "binary access" place...not sure what it's for but says ZION83N6 Access Panel 3. And requires a binary code to get in. Is this something to do with the vid game or something for net? There is sooo much stuff that I don't have a clue even what it is I'm trying to access.

The binary panel has been around for a while. it also leads to a hex panel. You can get movie extra's, etc. For more info, check out http://forums.matrixfans.net/showthread.php?s=3eb6f8dca56784d012472fb79219bc3b&threadid=4024&highlight=hex

Here's what I'm lookin at. On the Matrix Reloaded message board, someone posted the following message:

"Purple Pill" is a mailto: asdf@asdf.

Highintelligence.com is weird. Developers of an "OS" called bubblefish.

Google bubblefish, and one of the results is this:

"Daniel Fallman Interactive Institute"
Daniel Institute? danielinstitute.com? Holy wha???

Yeah Dan and I are tossing ideas about and wondering if the Swedish post by Guest has anything to do with this.

We're working on it and have so far:

As well the Bubblefish PDF has Swedish....and the Bubblefish/Babelfish coincidence?

On the highintelligence.com site: http://www.highintelligence.com/AboutOS012202.htm
It talks about the world as an operating system for the brain. Hmm... does this sound like anything we've heard of?

Hi, I'm new here! *waves* Joined because of the Matrix. I've read all sorts of stuff at argn but never got involved in an active game until now. Go easy on me! Wink

Could there be anything related to the weird punctuation and sentences sprinkled throughout the site? Stuff like:

Quote:

Possible Spoiler?
Also, speaking of the Binary code in Enter the Matrix- I believe it's

I just finished that section up a few minutes ago.

Edited to Add:

Upon looking through whatisthematrix.warnerbrothers.com, I found the a code (0x98765432) in the April 14, 2003 update. Maybe it will be useful?

That's a hex code to enter in access panel2.
Which nets a trailer...which I'm still downloading.
No idea if there's even an ARG here...but some pretty "loopy" stuff (by that I mean I've been looping around all over the place).

If there is a game with the movie (i've heard there isn't), i might have found the rabbit hole.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
in the scene where the guy knocks on Neo's door and gives him the data chip, there is a metal plate on the door with braille. It was there for only a couple of seconds, so I have no clue what it said.
