Apparently, I've caught someone's attention
Just got this email about an hour ago, from beth.swillowerSPLATgmail.com, subject "Can I count on your help?":

 		Awesome Smile So far I'm trying to work out the puzzle that Avecira wants someone to solve: http://avecirasolutions.com/avecira-problem-solver.pdf But no real ideas yet. I've always loved ARGs where you can interact with the antagonists...maybe even join them Twisted Evil

(Avecira is an anagram of avarice, btw)

Edit: Wait, each door is labelled incorrectly,

so you send an assistant in to the one labelled both and whatever they bring back has to be just that, then you send another assistant into a door, and they come back with the same thing as the first, then it has to be both, and the last is whatever's left Smile


I'm gonna email them that and see if I'm right.

Edit 2: And if they meant only one assistant period:

The assistant brings an item from the door labelled both, then that door is whatever they brought. The one with that label of just that must be the opposite of what it says, otherwise the final one would be correctly labelled, and the last one is both because that's all that's left.

I've emailed asking for an assistant to bring in something from the room containing both items. Someone needs to do the other rooms and post what you got.

 		Here was my answer to the puzzle. The thinking is along the same vein as RAD's.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Since all three doors are labeled incorrectly, I know the following:

Door 1: Not free lunches
Door 2: Not unicorns
Door 3: Not free lunches or unicorns

Therefore, if I sent the assistant to Door 2 I have a 50% chance of finding the both free lunches and unicorns door.

So if the assistant went to Door 2 and found "both free lunches and unicorns" then I know what door to choose. However, if behind Door 2 the assistant found only free lunches (since unicorns cannot be behind Door 2) then I know "both free lunches and unicorns" must be behind Door 1.


Also, Beth Swillower is an anagram for "Whistle Blower."
