Message #3 which has all the vowels and consonants grouped together (and is the same as some emails received) has a sting of numbers afterwards. I don't know about the first set "0341212121212" but the rest are the key of how to place the consonants and vowels.

If the number starts with '0' the word starts with a consonant, the next number is how many consonants.
If the number starts with '1' the word starts with a vowel. That first number is also how many vowels start the word.

3 - 3 vowels 'You'
111 - 1 vowel, 1 consonant, 1 vowel 'are'
012112 - starts with a consonant, 1 of them, 2 vowels, 1 consonant, 1 vowel, 2 consonants 'reading'
0211 - starts with a consonant, 2 of them, 1 vowel, 1 consonant 'this'
etc.

3 111 012112 0211

^Nice finds dude, I bet once we get all this shit decoded we'll progress. I'm still trying to work the Avecira angle, I sent Richard emails asking where he got the code and if the phrase "the fast flying bananas are fast" means anything to him:

Quote:
Well… I can't tell you much about the origin of the numbers and you shouldn't worry about it. Let's just say that it is pretty sophisticated technology that led us to the numbers.

Quote:
No, doesn't ring a bell. Why? Where did you get it from?

...now I'm gonna extort some info Twisted Evil

Thanks RAD!
The first set of numbers "0341212121212" follows the same pattern. The first grouping is vowels and numbers the second grouping is consonant and symbols.
20240630235960
TS:-----
0341212121212

0 - consonants & symbols from second grouping, 3 of them 'TS:'
4 numbers '2024'
1 - symbol '-' (dash)
2 numbers '06'
etc.
Which just decodes the first part of Message #3 as TS:2024-06-30-23-59-60 which is that start of other messages.

And that blows my "from the future" thinking.

I'm getting the same stuff from Richard that's already posted on the blog, in the same order. However, the latest message does suggest that the Mona Lisa has something to it that we have yet to discover:

Quote:
Hi Mehetabel,

Thank you for your help! Nicely done! That Mona Lisa surely is puzzling. Let me know if you find out anything new about it.

There is actually another strange message that I could show you. I don't think it's related to the Mona Lisa, but you never know, right? Anyway, it contains something that's for sure. I attached it in this email if you want to give it a try?

BR,
Richard

She just tweeted me, asking for help from 'puzzle solvers'. What have I missed so far?

Very quick overview: Gal named Beth works for this company Avecira, who specializes in "doing the right things at the right time" if I remember correctly. Well, this apparently includes some apocalyptic/world domination (you know it amandel Very Happy ) plan called "Toilworn Diamond." We've been solving puzzles that Beth gets ahold of using stealthy tactics (reading employee emails, accessing laptops, etc.), and some of us have been contacting said other employees about the same puzzles and more.

Speaking of which...what the hell does "Toilworn" even mean?

Edit: Don't think anyone's solved this yet, Message 5 is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ROT-13 for: "The message you are looking for can be found by typing goo dot gl slash Q5E60", which leads to this page: http://stoptoilworndiamond.co.nf/theorigin.html which contains what I thought was more ROT, but didn;t come up with anything, so I think it's another substitution cipher of some sort.

Edit 2: That's what I get for not reading the blog comments, on that page it apparently reads
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"In the early eighties, project Toilworn Diamond started as a vague, but wild and futuristic, idea. It originates from two young visionaries, Richard and Buck, who had a habit of dreaming of a better, exciting, future. They regularly kicked off their loafers, put on some Euro disco or dance-pop music and just relaxed while imagining of a world where technology would be so advanced that it would take care of many of the unimportant tasks they were wasting their time with."

Re message #5: Don't think the original solver clarified the gibberish on http://stoptoilworndiamond.co.nf/theorigin.html is actually a Vigenere cipher with the keyword:

Here's what Wikipedia says.

Hmm...things I've found from the wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hughes_Air_West which reads: "Apart from their all-yellow scheme, the airplanes also featured a blue logo on the vertical stabilizer (tail) that resembled three diamonds connected (possibly a reference to the initials of Howard Hughes)." Also, one of their planes was a target of a D.B. Cooper copycat.

And: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geostationary_Banana_Over_Texas ...yeah Laughing Maybe Avecira is making an HQ out of something like this?

The phrase is on a key, so I think it's gonna be used for another Vignere cipher or something similar (nice catch with that btw, amandel)

When you unscramble the picture at the URL for message 4 you get the following:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
TS:2025-12-31-23-59-60

The effects of the LOLCat Apocalypse to our society were so devastating that I took it as my mission to inform and guide you when you still have a change (sic) to avoid it. In our time, no one saw it coming, so be aware if you see any of these warning signs:

1. Some of the verbal communication between people is replaced with short digitally transmitted messages.
2. People start to publish pictures of their food thinking that, for some reason, other people would want to know what they are having for lunch.
3. Strange cat pictures start to appear in weird places, mainly in the Internet

So, I finally sent in my answer the door puzzle.
Quote:

Thank you for the answer! This time you explained the solution exactly as it goes, nice job! Would you like to keep using your problem solving skills? I attached an image to this email. Let me know if you find anything interesting from it, ok?

Best Regards,
Richard

And the image was the key picture imbedded with the "fast flying bananas are fast"
Am I the only one who got that response?

I also got that response. Perhaps we'll get Message 7 part 2, soon...

[EDIT] New message from Richard:
Quote:
Hi Mehetabel,

Well done!

As we don't know beforehand what do these messages contain, it is important to keep them just between us. There might be some things that are not in Avecira's interests to tell to anyone else. Do you agree? If you think the same way, here is another picture I'd like you to look at.

Best Regards,
Richard

I'm pretty sure I'm looking at something that's at least partially pigpen cipher, but I'm going to sit on this image for a little bit, at least until someone else confirms having gotten it.

Here's most of the images from the puzzles, so far, in order, in one place: http://s1277.photobucket.com/user/mehetabelprince/library/Toilworn%20Diamond?sort=4&page=1 If I missed any puzzles or solutions that were images, throw links at me.

[EDIT 2] The cipher spells out: goo.gl/5vM3Q
Which leads to: http://stoptoilworndiamond.co.nf/gimmesomedata.html

I hit it with a cryptogram solver and got:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
IN THE LATE EIGHTIES, RICHARD AND BUCK HAD ALREADY WORKED ON THE TOILWORN DIAMOND FOR SEVERAL YEARS. HOWEVER, THE MAIN PROBLEM THEY HAD AT THE TIME WAS THAT THEIR DESIGN REQUIRED MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF DATA TO BE ANY USEFUL. MOREOVER, THE DATA HAD TO BE PERSONAL. THEY COULDN'T EVEN GET THE PROTOTYPE TO WORK BECAUSE OF LACK OF DATA. THEY STARTED TO GET DEPRESSED AND DURING SOME DARK MOMENTS EVEN CONSIDERED CANCELING THE PROJECT, BECAUSE THEY HAD NO IDEA HOW COULD THEY COLLECT ALL THE DATA THEIR PRECIOUS REQUIRED.
