I'll be at the Oakland showing, so I'll keep an eye/ear out.

There's also a "secret" SF showing, and I feel like if there's hints into the Latitude, that may be the time/place.

Went to both the Oakland and secret SF screenings (to drag more of my friends to see it, heh) and there was no new info on the Latitude, just more of the "why no, we don't know what you guys are talking about, was there a website at the end of the movie?" and light-hearted denial from Uriah about it (the Q&As were quite good). It looks like we just need to keep waiting and watching.

I was at the Oakland screening as well, paying close attention to the Q&A. The only sort of odd, maybe leading comments that I could find were another mention of a "cloning company in Marin" (where Spencer worked before Nonchalance brought him on as a videographer) and an answer to a "where can we find more information about your current projects" question, answered as "look out the window." A quick look around the New Parkway inside and out of the street, at least to my eye didn't yield anything out of the ordinary at the quick glance over.

However 'net research on the cloning company did dig up some, perhapes no so useful information, at least on the surface. According to wikipedia there was a company called Genetic Savings & Clone that shut down in around 2009. Another company, BioArts, might be another possibility. Savingsandclone.com points to bioarts.com which on my first look seems to be just a site with high level, general information about cloning. A quick whois on bioarts.com shows that a guy in Panama owns it and a look in the Wayback Machine has the current site going up in Sept. 2011 after being parked for awhile (presumably after the original company folded).

I don't see how cloning would be connected to nonchalance unless they are going for a Raelian and Cloneaid parallel or just starting a whole new canon. Though when I look at The Latitude logo I see a helix drawn into a hexagon. Guess time will tell.

The Santa Cruz screening did not seem to reveal anything new.

Nah, I don't think anything from the Oakland screening really was a hint -- perusing the net, Spencer's been talking about the fact that he used to work for a dog cloning company for awhile, probably because it's hilarious. The 'look outside' thing I think was him just sort of scrambling for an answer, it felt -- it made it sound like we'll find out about it the same was as Jejune, from hints in the environment around us.

I wonder. Here's a comment I found from someone else who attended:

Anyhow, The Institute Movie was good for Jejune Institute nostalgia. And in the after-movie discussion, the creators mentioned that if we visit the movie's web site and look over some of the extra footage, there's a rabbit-hole for some other game.

Maybe that just leads to the trailhead we already know about? Or could there be more out there?

So just to be clear the pet cloning thing is/was real. He actually used to work for them (i think it's the BioArts company) and then it shut down. So that's not a clue or anything.

I highly doubt any of The Latitude is going to tie back to nonchalance. That well has dried up (except the EPS).
