I never said he was dead, but he's definitely under influence of TO, I posted an idea before in this thread but you guys happily ignored that...

- Inside the Tunnel with TIM, however TO attacks Tim, not Jay
- Inside the tunnel UNDER the building
- Jay escapes that tunnel, spared by TO <------------------THIS

We know TO is powerful, so why was Jay spared? I'm assuming that TO was happy that he found Jay, since Jay began filming again, he probably wants to toy with the lad first. So i'm assuming the lack of twittering is from once again, slender effects.

 		just so everyone knows, Jay IS NOT gone, the reason they have not made any new entries is because they just got back from a trip to LA and Bimmingham so they have been too busy to make any entries. want some proof? look at http://jtroyw.blogspot.com.au/2013/05/can-we-go-on-nic-cage-safari.html

Not necessarily "proof", they still might have planned his silence as a plot point.

But I don't think they did. Usually, when something bad is happening like the Tweetocalypse, it's signified through weird activity on the Twitter, not a lack of activity. We don't really have any definite proof he hasn't just been lazy until we get either a new Entry/TTA suggesting as much or until we start seeing weird, misspelled tweets again.

 		I was thinking about Jay's question, "What else has Alex caused me to forget?" I wonder if we'll end up seeing a tape (probably another Hoody tape, since he's been so sharing lately) from some event during seasons 1, 2, or 3 that Jay described via Twitter, revealing that it didn't occur as the tweets described. For example...

1. Jay's first trek to the red tower.
2. Jay's investigation of the antiques store.

Both were chronicled on Twitter with regular posts, but both had something weird happen.

1. Jay's "I've found something." tweet was scrambled.
2. Jay had to hide from a delivery guy.

In either one, there might opportunity for some lost encounter with Alex or the Operator.

i personally would rather them just forward the plot than go back to something like that just for an operator encounter. they really need to be making bigger jumps in forwarding the plot at this point. there is so much left to explain. rather than giving us all the answers at the end, they should sprinkle a reveal here and there and build on it.

ex. rather than revealing hoody's identity one entry before the finale and have him do one big thing, it would be better to reveal him 10 entries beforehand and have him work with tim and jay and explain things from his perspective. it gives the viewer more insight on the character and doesn't rely solely on mystery to keep people watching

like i said about lost: you can know the ending, but that doesn't matter. the journey there is what matters.

 		I think it was mentioned, but not developed. But could "return" have been the first indication Jay had been "gone"? The video not showing the return, but showing us what Jay had returned from?


(Fair warning: my theories have a 9:1 Hackneyed:Insightful Ratio [or H:I/R] Rolling Eyes )
