You can go on and on about trying to prove how blood cells work or how many molecules there are in a glass of beer, but I know it's all just lies-- nobody can truly know that kind of thing. It's all trial and error.

Like, fuckin' magnets-- how do they work?

I think there was something about a north pole and a south pole in there somewhere, so I'm guessing Santa Magic?

Neither science of mysticism work on me, dude. I take Woody Allen's stance:

Well, I don't believe in miracles, so all* of your dogma is irrelevant to me.

*Well, except the Suttonist dogma. I find that, um... extremely pertinent. Wink

Didn't I just tell you I don't believe in miracles, either?

Apparently, I was busy posting while you did.

And the "miracles" reference was a joke that failed. Sad

You know what I don't believe in? Tim.

That's right, Tim isn't real. He is achieved through CGI.

You know what REALLY sucked?

Sucker Punch, The Avengers, 300, Batman & Robin, Iron Man, & Rebuild of Evangelions 2 & 3.

Out of that entire list, the only movie that I thought was remotely worth watching is Batman & Robin, and even that's not very good. So, we share some common ground on the others. Although I never saw Evangelions 2 & 3, I don't usually like Christian-themed movies-- they have low production values.

How can you not believe in science, oh devoted worshiper of Tim, God of Science and all things Fact?

(We really need a damn video soon.)

Not sure if serious or pun.

You are probably the first person I've met in a looooong time who was older than 10 & praised Batman & Robin. It was like my favorite movie growing up, & I re-watched it recently, & even I had to admit that it was really bad. And I am the only person alive who liked Spider-Man 3.

Magnets work by lining up the magnetic force that is found in some materials, such as iron. By lining these up it forms a north and south pole. An interesting fact you probably don't know is that the north pole, is actually the magnetic south pole, as north and south attract. You can make a magnet out of a non magnetic piece of iron if you have a magnet, you rub the magnet along the other piece of iron and it lines up the charges of magnetism, after a long time the magnets will be the same strength, but after a short time you will just have a weak magnet like an induced magnet when you pick something up with a magnet.

That's some brief information on how magnets work, for more info go to

Okay, I was being snarky, there. But answer me this: Why does all that happen?
