 		How far up the ranking did other people get? I made it to Rear Admiral but doesn't seem likely to bump up to Vice Admiral now.

Don't fret just yet!

I pulled off a little Kirk "Kobayashi Maru" trick here. Anyone who doesn't want to drag their butt to a Walmart to score 30 points just scan this photo - which came from what? Taking a photo of the photo shown in the app itself, and scanning it! I think it's pretty awesome this actually worked.

Not sure what the photo posting protocol is here so forgive me if posting this photo is not okay. I just thought fellow app users out there would appreciate the helping hand and saving on the gas money.

I'm 250/650 to Vice Admiral myself. Also, I've been playing since day one of the app's launch but for some oddball reason I had to start completely over (after reaching Captain) because the app refused to read my Facebook login anymore which ROYALLY sucked! Started completely from scratch just before the teaser "poster" missions popped up and had to try and backtrack solve as many missions as possible to catch back up. It wouldn't let me go back any further than scanning the blu-ray disc though.

It was the only way to prevent the app from constantly (and I do mean constantly) glitching, crashing, or refusing to scan images. Still, I hope all this effort pays off in the end. I hold out faith there will be some kind of payoff for us loyal followers at the end of this very frustrating frontier.

I unfortunately missed the boat on the 1701 goodies.

Anyone get their Delta badge prize yet from the first hourly contest? I'm still waiting.

 		285/500 at Vice Admiral.

I had the same problem at Captains level where I had to uninstall and reinstall and basically start over from scratch not getting to do the early stuff.

I haven't gotten my delta badge yet.


ETA Now at 325/500 Rear Admiral. Can't get the image to scan yet again.

I find clearing the cache and force stopping the app helps. In the most extreme circumstances, clearing your data (meaning you have to re-sign in again upon launch) or re-installing the app entirely just saves headaches in the long run and gets the scanner working again. You can also try to scan the image w/o being logged in, then when you log in - it should give you the points automatically but it may not give you the "bonus" content.

That's how I got the points for the Walmart STID Vudu sticker ordeal.

Restarting the app a few dozen times usually finally lets me scan. Signing off and back on cost me points as well as the reinstall so I ain't going down that road again.

I believe the rules stated 6-8 weeks after the promotion ends which would mean mid-July for receiving prizes.
