I honestly can't think of what they would have been looking for if they're still in College Town. They could have been looking for Alex's old house I suppose but I don't know why they'd have to look for it I'd think Jay would already know where it is.

I would be sort of disappointed if they left College Town already to find the Basement of Doom or the Hoodie Shack. All they did in college town was go to the red tower and find tapes.

Yeah, but the Slender attack wiped out 7 months of memory--he likely doesn't remember how to get there or where it was located. It just seems logical that they'd go looking somewhere like that given that our most recent piece of information was that Alex didn't want Jay to know he was lying to Amy and/or how long their relationship had been going on.
