 		Did anyone else get the vibe that Tim struggling to stay on his feet in front of the Operator was an act of defiance?

Thx! That bottom one is what I was seeing. I've never witness a flashlight cause a lens diffraction like that (assuming it was caused by the light bouncing back into the cam lens). Although there is flare on it so maybe? Hmm guess I'll have to find the entry it reminds me of.


So those snippets are from when Tim turns back for Jay, however I do find it strange that there is distortion right before they appear and that they happen before the actual event they recorded. Specifically at 11:19. I noticed after watching that part again that at about 11:22 there are two flashes of light. At first I presumed they were from Jay's flashlight but when Tim retrieves the light it is on the ground and these flashes were between about waist and shoulder level. It also appears that someone moves in front of and off to the right of the lights (it blocks the light at one point...Hoody?).

Then again I may be just fabricating things where there is actually nothing of importance. Also if none of that made sense...I blame it on the meds.

 		Had company over when the vid uploaded. They were a few entries behind, but I got them caught up. The collective "OH S**T!" when TO gets to work down in the basement made us all laugh when the vid was over.

Killer entry. Only thing I didn't care about was how hokey TO looked during the lawn confrontation.

If I can kick my wife off the PC any time soon I will fire up Audacity and see if the confrontation/bargain audio is salvageable.[/spoiler]

 		First post from this account in I don't even know how long. I wanted to bring up something that hasn't been noticed yet. Starting at about 12:13,

there seems to be words, or at least letters, over and around Tim. I can make out a W and a N. Can anyone grab some screens, maybe clear things up a little bit?

 		A hypothesis on the changing of time I have is relating to idea of TO eating/feeding on memories. The time changes because they're stuck in some sort of paralysis and somehow break free with a lack of memory.

 		I found Tim's attitude throughout this entry jarring. His insistence on putting the papers in the top pocket, as if he was hiding something, as well as what he says to Jay in the kitchen. How he thinks Alex tried to look like the victim by giving Jay the tapes, and that Alex is cause. Tim seems to be reinforcing a certain view of Alex.

However, then we have the conflicting evidence in the way Tim was trying to relate to Jay, saying he's going through a similar ordeal with memory lapses, and that Jay isn't alone. Also Tim's reaction to seeing Jay on the ground was so emotional.

This is true and this was the first issue I thought about with it. How ever TO does seem to be able to manipulate or have some effect on the camera. The thing that led me to the thought was how Tim specifically mentions how dark it is. If you were walking down the stairs and there was a window in the basement, you should be able to see the light coming through from the stairs. Which also made me contemplate the idea of doors allowing teleportation through space and time similar to the entry where Jay chases Masky through a house and ends up in a closet after a brief period of darkness.

 		I pretty much expected the OP to appear as soon as they filmed the OP Sign on the pages.

I think more and more that the symbol can attract the OP when filmed. Why filmed? I'm not sure. But there does appear to be significance to filming it. Like in the entry where Alex attacked Tim. Alex walked over and filmed the OP Sign for a bit. But then again maybe it has an effect on the viewer...

Like for instance, Alex attacked Tim because he saw the OP Sign. Jay saw something in the field after seeing an OP Sign. In fact, we know there was one on the Red Tower from Season 1 maybe he looked at that one and that explains what he saw there too.

This entry caught me off guard, when Tim went frantically looking back for Jay. I expected him to book it and not look back like what Jay did when they went to Rosswood.

We've seen Alex making some of those pages. "Obsessively" is closer to it than "frantically".

I saw this too...not sure if it was deliberate or if someone is actually in the suit wearing something over their face, and it got a little tight for a second?

I went frame by frame through everything between TO appearing and disappearing, and a lot of the distortion contains frames of previous footage from this entry, barring the spooky faces towards the end (Tim in 61). I'd place money on what you're seeing just being something superimposed using effects and nothing intentional, although I *did* see something that looked like a match previously before you mentioned what you saw. Can't seem to find it again, unfortunately.

 		How exactly is anyone saying that Jay is Hoody? Jay as TTA is improbable enough; Jay as Hoody is as close to impossible as a filmmaker can make it. Did I miss a "two Hoody" theory up-thread? Alex knows who Hoody is, per 68, when he attacked him when he wasn't wearing his hood, and asked him right out "Where are Jay and Tim?" Pretty stupid question if he's talking to Tim.
