Wait... we spell it "doofus" here in the States. And I think we invented that word. Should you not automatically, reflexively spell it "doofuz" in the Highlands just for... spite? Razz

Fun fact: there's no "z" in Gaelic (neither in Scots nor Irish, so any z would be replaced with a shedload of consonants (Doofusmhts?)

No, you've hit the nail on the head. [Ooh, sorry. "Niall on the heodh," I think your people spell it. Wink]

I hit a Niall on the heodh once and had to apologise...

Some people just get carried away from time to time when they are feeling strongly about things and get a bit overwrought in their arguments. I suspect that the perception of increased wait times between entries, combined with the sense that we are not moving forward very much, plot-wise, amps up the crankiness factor and makes people more likely to snap.
(As opposed to, say, the partying demons in my head that make me likely to snap.)

Agreed.
...and if you keep the demons partying, they'll never be sober enough to snap...best way Wink

Well, the thing is, MH is (partly) a mystery, and mysteries make people naggingly curious, so I think it's somewhat understandable that people are starting to go nuts now that the mystery just isn't being solved. Though I don't think the creators of MH are morally obligated to serve their audience, artistically, I certainly think the series is at the point where it ought to move forward more than it has; I feel that it doesn't give much credit to the audience to leave them hanging like this. It might be a bit self-absorbed to rage at the creators morally, but I think we're within our rights to criticize their work artistically, and I agree that the plot has begun to lose it momentum and coherence lately and is becoming dissatisfying. There is now too much suspense and uncertainty, and I feel some relief from the uncertainty is long overdue. I'm not expecting them to answer all of the outstanding questions at once, but I think they need to at least answer one of them (and stop burdening the storyline by introducing more). A few answers will help freshen the series a bit, and keep the audience coming back for more.

Bottom line, I started following MH because it made me intensely curious, hungry for answers, and lately, after 3+ years, it's just not delivering. I'm not saying I hate it, but it needs to get better or I might lose interest and stop following it, as I've done with most of the other Slenderman web shows.

"Morally" is kind of a useless term. They are certainly under no legal obligation, but one person's sin is another person's virtue.

I've liked where the series was going the last couple entries. I trust the guys to not leave us disappointed.

I think it was supposed to be a hint that Hoody was around way back when... I mean, the first time we saw it was in Brian's house in Entry 18, right? Jay left it there, and all of a sudden it pops back up in the maintenance tunnel in Entry 60, where we know Hoody left it for him. So unless Masky and Hoody were sharing the doll, Hoody had to have been there. One of those little loose ends that Trosephim tied (somewhat) in season 3, like the static hole... but no one really picked up on it.

I know Marble Hornets is an amateur project but i highly doubt Troy has no idea where the series is going to, that would be TOO amateur... I kinda like how the entries are going so far. Way better than in S2 imo. I just wish they could scare me again.

Troy has said multiple times that they had the ending and plenty of the stuff leading up to it planned out for a while now. Unless you want to assume he's downright lying, I'd agree that he knows where this is going.
