Didn't we get a TTA video on one of the anniversaries? I thought we did. It would be pretty cool if we got a TTA for it this year.

Happy!

Because, guys, I have to tell you, OMG, is Kraehtot's English really, really good! I got to Skype with her on Friday, and though she worried a great deal beforehand about my ability to understand her, I had no trouble at all. She has an accent (of course, as any adult learner of a second language will), but it is not any sort of impediment. She has this sort of ethereal, dreamy voice, and listening to her speak was just a delight. She is every bit as sweet and funny and adorable as she is in her posts here.

Here's the thing: she's also ridiculously shy. Again, she needn't be, because her English is amazingly good. But she has an oral exam coming up soon for her University studies, and she would like to practice as much as possible in advance of it.

So: if you are a) a native speaker of English, b) curious to hear Kraehtot's beautiful voice, and c) want to help her absolutely ace her English oral exam -- send her a PM and let her know you want to Skype with her, too. Because she won't ask, and trust me, this is something you totally want to do.

Bear in mind that she is in Spain and that you'll have to schedule a time with her. If you need to know the difference between the time zones, this is a good tool to have: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html -- use the Spain-Madrid option for her timezone.

Send her a message!

p.s. Kraehtot is pronounced "CRY-tote," with a rolled 'r'.
