It's already started; soon the madness will set in!

I think the madness set in long, long ago.

And while what we've seen of TTA seems to point to his being a somewhat malevolent ally at worst, probably against TO, we don't understand much of his motivations. He could be some sort of villainous chessmaster playing TO/Alex against Jay/Tim for his own machinations, for all we know. I think he's probably going to be more a morally questionable ally, but we don't know for sure. Remember "Enjoying watching you suffer", anyone?

That said, what we've seen so far doesn't fit too well with the idea that he was watching and doing nothing to intervene, though it doesn't outright contradict it.

I think that he is an "ally" of Jay and Tim, it's just that he's gone so crazy from The Operator's influence that his "helping" can sometimes be not really (if you can understand that last part, there.)

The problem is, if we say exposure causes foresight ability, we have to find the answer to why Tim doesn't have it as he has been stalked since childhood. What is special about Jay that he gained it before Tim?

Jay's not on psychoactive meds?

Tim's extremely accustomed to being told he's crazy and the things he's seeing aren't real, so even if he'd gotten the ability, he'd probably have tried really hard to shut it out. Also, pills. We know they stop him becoming Masky, but we have no idea what other effect they might have, incidental to that, since they're clearly suppressing something.

Tim did stat The Operator had possibly been following him since chilshood. Myabe his already at a later stage of the psychosis. Plus he took his pills before confronting The Operator (trying to help Jay). Maybe the disable The Operators ability to torment his victims when there near.

Jesus, please be using a phone to type that.

Why would Jesus be using a phone to type anything?

I'd expect heaven to have some amazing coverage.

But I'd expect that they'd have something better than mere mortal phones to type with.

And while I thought someone was in the window at first, I'm pretty sure it was just a lighting thing, as was said.

Yes I am on a mobile phone. Some average Samsung p.o.s. Sorry about some of my bad grammer and spelling mistakes, I'm always on my laptop and this phone's touchscreen isn't so great.
Lol, No my reception isn't heavenly.

I think you raise a good point. Hoody was seen running from TO when he had Alex at gunpoint. The fact TTA was able to record Hoody luring Alex into a trap. Though it could be also argued Hoody and TTA are playing Alex and Jay/Tim against each other.
On the topic of Tim's meds, I think he will explain something about it in the next Entry. I'm interested to know why Alex was seemingly crossing off their name's on what appears to be a hit list. Also why were the notes left, the house was empty. They had seemed a little placed (maybe, could be just overthinking it).

Sorry, but for someone who has complained as much as you have about off-topic posts, what exactly has this to do with Entry #72? Just wondering. Rolling Eyes

I think that after this episode the guys really have to stop ignoring the elephant in the room - the existence of TO. I mean really, they can't continue beating around the bush anymore.

There has to be a point pretty soon at which they sit by a table and have chat about that thing that's going after them over a nice mug of coffee. (Or perhaps not by a table - a curb at the edge of a parking lot would be more MH style.)

Avoiding any direct references of TO was mostly ok until now, but prolonging that beyond this or next entry would start making it ridiculous, IMHO. I hope that won't happen.

If you think they've been ignoring the Operator for the whole series, you haven't been paying attention.

Something just occurred to me. In that early entry where Jay interviews Tim, he asks him if he ever saw a tall guy in a business suit-- Tim does get nervous and says 'no,' but what if the Operator looks a little different to everybody?

It can't, because the camera captures what we see of him, and Tim has watched the same footage as us and hasn't said anything about it.
