What do we bring on Nov 4? I know we have to bring ID. But do we need xbox controllers, any kinds of papers of some sort.
Also has anyone been to these centers before? If so describe them because I'm still unsure of what to do Nov 4 even after reading a bunch of stuff.
-If this was answered before just lock me again. I'm not trying to be annoying or anything, but it looks like i'm doing a pretty good job of that. Sry to all.

I can't imagine they'd expect anybody to bring a controller, especially since they're not "officially" announcing what'll happen at the event, just making it rather obvious.
You should try to bring a camera, although they might make you leave it with the attendant if there's a no-camera policy. You could at least take pics of beekeepers outside even if they don't let you bring it on.
Bring cash in case they have cool stuff for sale.
Bring something to take notes, because us poor bastards who can't go will want to hear all about this.
Red balloons, maybe? You never know.
Cell phone, so you can give live reports to your friends back home.
That's about all I can think of.

the centers The event is at a movie theater. I think the space is pretty much the same as all movie theaters. Except the one in New York has stadium seating and some sort of digital capability-- I still don't see how to play multiplayer on the movie screen, I guess they can break it into 4 parts??
As for the locking, I think Celina63 explained very well the reason, which had nothing to do with asking questions and everything to do with software copyrights.

See, that all depends on what the definition of "is" is. Or no, wait, the definition of "inhale" inhales .... no, that's not quite right either. Potatoe?

Hey you think it will be wrong if you bring a TV and xbox and play the original Halo there and have a semi-tournament ROFL.

If you want to get together and play Halo at a hotel, I'm down. I'm all the way down. However, I'm coming up to Chicago to play H2, so no regressions at the main event, aight?

I would say that a controller is a must have (you don't want to be stuck with a Duke if you're used to the S (and vice-verca I guess)
Also, snacks would be good...
3 hours in a movie theater with no snacks = torture
ID (obviously)
A digital camera (2 if you can wing it, so if they confiscate 1 you have a back-up), make sure you have big memory cards for them too .
A big smile, 'cause you'll be seeing something special.
That's all I can think of for now, if I think of more stuff, I'll let you know before tomorrow.
Hope you enjoy it, and pics would be nice if you can get them

you obviously weren't a part of the LOTR trilogy marathon before the ROTK release... hehe now that was quite a day... over 9 hours in a theatre for 3 movies...

Ahh, yes... that day/night...
My ass still hurts from peeling myself off the theater seats at the end.
And the Matrix marathon thing as well, although it wasn't as long as the LOTR marathon.
Ahhh, fun times, I wish I could go to one of the events tomorrow...
