 		I think you're reading too much into this. If some else had Jay's account, why would they pretend to be Tim. From what I saw, Jay was in pretty bad shape after the last entry, and he's been slowly losing it anyway. I think Jay is suffering from Advance Slender Sickness and that's what the next video will be about.

You point out we can only know that it isn't Jay who is posting, when that's not even the case; we know whoever posted said they weren't Jay, but there's no way of calling it fact without actually knowing, as none of us were present when and where it was posted. Suggesting the twitter feed has better uses is true enough, with unsolved (potential) codes, the tweetpocalypse scenarios, but beyond that I think the tweet was sufficient to suggest where the next entry might go, and is a succinct enough method to lessen the explanation time required in the next few entrys if Jay does start taking a back seat role - we'll already have been told to expect this, meaning more focus on the story and less on explaining the obvious.

As for Jay being the only one providing the information, the important thing is that he's not. Acknowledging that he points out that some of them weren't him is important, as you said, but he also didn't remove them, not to mention TTA's whole channel, which while not really helping us with much of the story, still has had an impact on some of the Entries. Your reasoning for this being that Jay wants us to know it's only him editing the entries and such is also assuming that we trust Jay as a reliable narrator. There's many reasons to believe he is withholding information from us, has lost parts of his memory including what could be key events, and other such things, (and could even have edited out things he didn't want us to see - again, not suggesting this is likely the case, but it's also something that is a possibility).

TL;DR - Although I think this idea is an interesting one, and it would be quite a fun curve ball were it to be true, I simply think this tweet was true enough, to save time in future entries when the time comes that perhaps Tim has to conclude Jay's investigation and give an alternative perspective/narrator to the one we already know we can't fully rely on, who is also slowly losing his control.

Because white text on a black background is just so difficult... I don't think they even cut anything out in that video. Maybe when they went back to the car?

I think it's more likely that Jay edited and uploaded Entry #72, then after a few weeks of still being sick, gave Tim the password. It doesn't make as much sense for Tim to edit and upload the footage, then wait 3 weeks before mentioning that Jay gave him the password. He's never been too keen on the public seeing everything (although Jay may have convinced him otherwise), and he's not "the movie guy" so I don't think he'd be too familiar with editing.

There is a cut at 3:03. Also, I personally don't know how to make a title screen to a video, I have no idea about video editing.
