 		How do you figure this is tied to Rewriting the Future? None of the names are the same, the corporation is different, RtF doesn't involve children, gods, or Aztec culture... It's about an artificial intelligence (created by an evil corporation that seems a little more stupid than evil) going haywire and censoring the internet until all that remains is LOLcats. Yes, they're both about taking down evil corporations, but I'm thinking that's where the similarity ceases.

Three threads come up in a search on UnFiction for "Aaron Cooper":
- [TRAILHEAD?] The Beginning (2009)
- Defiant_Master (2010)
- The Haven Chronicles (2012)

The last one is definitely connected, as it refers to "Aaron Cooper" and "Tier Corp", in the last post, made in November, last year.

John, how exactly do you, yourself, weigh in on this?

JB: (*mildly clears throat*) Well, first of all, Sean, I would prefer if you called me Dr. Barkley. Secondly, what Mr. Cooper has said in the matter should be disregarded entirely. The media has taken it completely out of context.

SP: Well, once again, correct me if I'm somehow wrong on this, but how exactly can -and I quote, (*"authoritative" impression*)"these deaths are a necessary evil"(*), be taken out of context? Seems pretty straightforward to me; and that's not really atypical of the man either, everyone does still remember the events that transpired on Colony Day, '63.

JB: Whatever it is Mr. Cooper does in his free-time is no concern of yours, no concern of mine, or anyone else in the media. It would behoove you all not to speak ill of the man in charge of The Authority.

SP: Alright- alright- whoa, whoa, whoa- whoa, whoa- chill- chill, chill. We'll change the subject to a better topic, say Patrick Weaver. Yea. The latest in a string of deaths caused by your company's advanced genetic mutations. He's become a martyr of sorts among the scummers[sic]. Yea, the underground is pretty much treating him like a saint. That's pretty impressive for them. People have begun hating you, hating Tier[sic], hating Cooper, in numbers higher than my ratings, and my fucking ratings are high!

JB: -and what exactly would you have me do? Mr. Piercesen, can your limited mind even begin to comprehend the grand scale of Tier? To see, in the light, that to fix the problems that plague this city, we have to cut down employment by millions. Temp agents and our secretarial departments, permanent members of our security, and administration. It would devastate- no, paralyze Haven's economy. Is that what you would have me do, Mr. Piercesen? We have already ceased production of the A.G.M.s[sic]. We have, but you know how it is, once the dam's wrecked, there's just no stopping the flood.

SP: But Mr. Barkley, Tier and The Authority basically go hand-in-hand, kind of like bread and butter, left and right socks, (*suddenly loud and angrily*)FUCKING HOOKERS AND BLOW. You can't separate them, it's unnatural(*still angrily, begins to sound as if said through grit teeth*). (*calming down*)Sorry, sorry, s- I-I'm- I'm okay, I'm okay. S-sit back down. Now, (*sighs*) are you actually saying that with tighter restrictions in place, you really couldn't stop all of these gene[sic] babies? By saying that, you know you are effectively making Tier less the corporate overlord that it is, and more like a really shitty dad, trying not to pay child-support, and get around alimony. Now, have YOU checked YOUR baby mommas lately?

JB: Look, (*angrily/annoyed*)are you 'gunna' sit here and slanderize[sic] Tier and myself, or are you 'gunna' actually conduct a proper, and professional interview, as I was promised.

SP: You know, it's kind of tough to be professional when the person you're interviewing is dodging the truth, avoiding the answers, and just being- (*sigh from JB*) -you. Umm, yea- Patrick Weaver deserves vindication, even in death. You know that, right? So, Mr. Barkley, are you going to give up the truth to me? to our listeners? to Haven? to the family of the person you KILLED?! -or are you going to continue to pussyfoot around, or- c'mon, what?

JB: Well, Mr. Sean Piercesen, I would like to first remind you that my name is DOCTOR. JONATHAN. BARKLEY. Secondly, as a man of sound mind and voice, I should take your accusations as little more than a wormy little fool trying to get me to break my professional conduct. So, alright, I'll play. Here's my rebuttal: YOU WORMY LITTLE SON-OF-A-BITCH, I SHOULD TAKE THAT MIC AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR COTTON-PICKIN' ASS! Accusing me of murder on a live broadcast; I hope for your company's sake they have a better replacement, 'cause this is THE LAST TIME you're ever 'gunna' air in this city. Get that stinkin' camera out of here! MOVE! I said, MOVE!

Everything sounds the same to me, except I am hearing Tier Ship Elliot for the part you have ??s for.

Would also have to agree that it is apparent that this isn't the 1960s, but morel like the year 2060, heck, maybe even 2160!
