goodwin games
just another rabbit hole

Apparently the creators of the failed TV show "The Goodwin Games" also made a little rabbit hole. I came across it via a tweet from Neil Patrick Harris. I followed it a bit and got knee-deep in word-soup, but then got stuck.

If anyone is interested in working on this together, hop aboard!

Did anyone figure out the "look in the attic" clue?

https://twitter.com/BenGoodwinRIP appears to be where all the action is.
As for "look in the attic" it's the answer to a Trivial Pursuit question in Ep. 1.

The words from the tweets can be rearranged in an interesting way

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
splitting each tweet into two -- one for even words and one for odd words, you get:

next ouzo base follow prarie's Michael team tenth doctor
not joined park peace bird name right away (abbr) water
board losing acuity half mathematical bernhard dart not smooth
lobster state with lowest grade football not us half
local ford debacle first hairy brother descending high temperature
alaskan city green goodyear product second hankey nickname bay

which then looks like a pattern

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
of clues alternated with words in a checkerboard pattern

next (ouzo base) follow (prarie's Michael) team (tenth doctor)
(not joined) park (peace bird) name (right away (abbr)) water
board (losing acuity) half (mathematical bernhard) dart (not smooth)
(lobster state) with (lowest grade) football (not us) half
local (ford debacle) first (hairy brother) descending (high temperature)
(alaskan city) green (goodyear product) second (hankey nickname) bay

that you can simplify

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
by solving the clues. Some like "hairy brother" seem like classic crossword clues. My stab at solving:

next (grape/anise) follow (landon) team (david tennant)
(loose) park (dove) name (asap) water
board (blind) half (riemann) dart (rough/course)
(maine) with (f) football (them/others) half
local (edsel/firestone/pinto) first (esau) descending (fever/heat/hot/warm/boiling)
(omen) green (tire/radial/rubber) second (the count) bay

But then I got stuck. None of it means anything, and a lot of words are weirdly specific and hard to turn into anything else.

Actually the non-clue words are much more interesting since they seem to point to another Twitter account. Just not quite.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
next follow
first half
second half
green bay local football team name
water park with dart board
descending

@BenGoodwinRIP: (@WTjadenIII clues stand on their own, but you will need the first ep at some point... and it may help to have seen the second)
Maybe that's the point he's talking about?

Not reading the answers literally gives you more to work with again, but now I'm back at word soup.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
landon = "land on", tennant = "ten and", anise = "and is", etc.
