Marble Hornets season three DVD suggestions?

Hey everyone,

Given that Troseph read these forums, why don't we have a topic for suggestions for the extras of the Marble Hornets season three DVD? For me, I'm not quite sure what could top season one and two for extras. I found both commentaries rather informative (and while Troy has a camera really wasn't my sort of thing, I've found their commentaries hillarious) - perhaps a crackpot 'alterante ending'?

You mean they could include how they did TO?

What I'd like more than anything is official solutions to all the totheark videos. There are still videos from season 1 that we haven't figured out solutions for. Maybe even some commentary on the totheark videos other meanings and what Troy had in mind when he was making them.

What was the most difficult scene to do, what was the most fun to do.

Perhaps we can have a segment on things scripted for the series that didn't happen. I'm sure that they had other proxies besides Masky and Hoody planned. Also, a thing on the different endings that almost happened would be nice.

If they haven't already, a special feature showing the making of an entry.

The second season DVD was just hella full of Trosephim fanservice, and I hope they continue with that. I just really enjoy watching those guys goof off.

It'd also be cool to see a TTA making-of video. It'd be pretty boring to watch Troy edit some random video so they could do it in timelapse, like the "how to make a mask" featurette.

Definitely need an official TTA answer/intent segment. I also would like to see a closing "reflections" segment where Trosephim and interested supporting cast would leave their parting shots at how the series turned out and the impact it had on them.

-A more durable sleeve, something laminated.
-Real commentary for the TTA entries rather than jokes. There are a lot of TTA videos that I'd love to know more about.
-A featurette on how The Operator works
-In-character voice acting for the tweets (just think that'd be neat; it wouldn't work for the random gibberish tweets of course)
-The making of an entry from beginning to end: planning, shooting, and editing
-Making of Hoody's mask
-So many more bloopers
-Some sort of "parody entry", e.g. Jay walks into his hotel room, finds the Operator, and they just sort of hang out
-Remakes of a select few entries. Nothing canon, just for fun.
-A totally new, totally canon entry just for DVD buyers. Maybe something that details what happened to the rest of the MH crew, assuming they don't resolve that in the regular entries.

A lot of these are wishful thinking, but oh well

I think this is kind of inevitable that they'll cover this, as season three is the final season.

Ohhh, this I love Smile I'd actually love it if they'd recorded all the tweets back from season one as well.

This is a MUST Smile

Ohh, this I want Smile Although, generally, I'm not a big fan of the boys Troy Has A Camera stuff.

Hmmm...I'm kind of okay with the entries as they stand and even with the boy's extra money, Marble Hornets, for me, still very much looks like budget non proffessional web series. Can they really change the entries all that much?

Ohhhh...nice idea. I think it be a fine line to tread - I think most of us want closure in the series - but maybe a collection of previously 'unseen' clips from the beginning to the ending of Marble Hornets, from the perspective of other characters (Seth, Amy, Brain, etc) as they try and make sense of what's happening around them. Also, maybe a video diary of sorts between Tim and Brain - focusing on Tim's efforts to deal with his 'illness' and their general friendship and Brain getting Tim to interact with other people through the filming of Marble Hornets and the inevitable tragedy that follows (that is to say, if Brain isn't the evil mastermind behind everything Smile!)

Well, the boys are open to suggestions Smile

D'uh. This is a no brainer. A copy of the Marble Hornets movie they were shooting at the start, up to the point where Alex quit on the project.

More alternate entries like the one that was on the S2 DVD (I think). Basically was a scrapped entry where Jay was in a car and TO walked up to the car. If I remember right, they said it was scrapped because they thought TO looked goofy when it walked.

instead of having a separate section for the tweets... have them pop up, white text on a black screen, in front of each appropriate entry.

I don't think they should be so separate from the overall narrative, when they do provide some important information, and develop the characters a bit more.

I might be of the minority opinion here, but if they did a parody of one of the entries in a THAC-style I would LOVE it.

(But, then again, sometimes I love THAC more than MH itself. XD)

I have an idea for the packaging/release of the DVD itself: why not make a "Marble Hornets: The Complete Series" boxset? It would have each season in its original packaging, contained within a box/tin or something.

Heck, they could even package it with the shirts/or some other memoribillia (posters? Replica Masky mask???).
