 		long time lurker, first time posting.

IF the figure is Alex, and Hoody is indeed trying to tell Jay to find the tape in the box, why couldn't Alex just watch the Entry like we did and take the mentioned tape from the box? (hide it somewhere else, burn it, eat it..) Makes no sense to me Confused

 		I think they'd know us enough to notice there's a car in the driveway and to find out whose car it was. Tim could've easily just driven it out of shot if they hadn't wanted it there.

That is my prevailing thought/reasoning,too.Which brings us back to who was attic and window?Jay or Tim?

Or Amy? Or Antiques Lady? Or Seth's dog? Wink To be honest I'm not too bothered who it was in the attic, we'll find out in an upcoming entry if it's important. Guessing is fun, but this time I'm choosing to embrace the uncertainty. Maybe Hoody doesn't even know who it was.

 		I gave an attempt to identify the attic guest based on their shoes, without much luck.

* From Entry #67, Alex's shoes are dark brown(?) with white soles.
* From Entry #69, Jay's shoes are brown with whitish soles.
* From Entry #69, Tim's shoes are brown with black soles.

Note that these are pretty vague descriptions, I know that some of you far better at identifying shoes than I. I just thought it may be worth a shot. As for the attic guest's shoes, I really have no idea on the colour since it's night. But is anyone able to identify the shoe type, or perhaps match it to Alex, Jay or Tim?

And in entry #15, Tim has blue shoes on. Therefore, this tells me that IG, characters have multiple pairs of shoes. Therefore, identifying the shoes isn't gonna help any.

But What if in Entry #72, Alex was up inside the attic maybe moved his stuff up there or something and he was in the attic with something or someone and he heard Jay and Tim lurking in the house. Using the powers he had with TO and somehow called TO to scare them off.

 		I'm still leaning towards that house being Alex's. He claimed to have burned all the tapes, yet they still find one there. Making him a "Liar," wouldn't you say?

Actually I think it's more likely that this tape is one of the ones that Tim recorded back in 2006, and decided not to give to Jay in Entry #54. When Tim gave those tapes to Jay it always seemed that Tim was testing Jay. Why would Tim keep hold of the tapes if he had no way to play them and had no idea what was on them? I think it's more realistic that he pulled a Kralie and only gave Jay the tapes he wanted him to see, and I wouldn't be surprised if we found out that Tim had a videocamera which he can use to play the tapes all along. If Tim is going to withhold one of the static hole tapes from Jay then he'd need to watch them all before Jay did, which I don't find very likely.

If that's the case, why would Tim try to hide the fact that he remembered going with Alex to the abandoned hospital? That was one of the tapes that he gave to Jay, and he said in Entry 58 that he never went there with Alex. Tim would have been the victim in that case. (He couldn't have been trying to cover up Brian's "gone"-ing-- that was in Entry 51, and Tim didn't find out about the entries until Entry 59.) It just doesn't make sense-- the information we have doesn't fit.


I think at that point he was still testing Jay to see if he would come clean. Towards the end he says something along the lines of "I don't know what you're trying to do here..." and acted very suspiciously around Jay. It's also quite likely that he didn't remember much of what happened, even with the tapes to help him. The next entry, Jay decides to come clean (presumably after picking up on Tim's behaviour) and get suckerpunched by a very angry Tim. I think that fits in quite well with Tim withholding a tape, especially if it's incriminating.

Why would lying about going to the hospital make Jay want to come clean? He could just as easily have said that he'd gone there with Alex but denied anything strange happening.

Tim might have been acting suspicious at the end of Entry 58 because Jay had just been with him exploring the abandoned mental institute where he had grown up when he suddenly ran off and started chasing some dodgy guy in a hoodie into a maintenance tunnel.

During the meeting in Entry 59, Tim said "So much of the last few years makes so much sense now." "You show up, pointing a camera in my face, bringing back old memories like it couldn't possibly have any effect on anybody else." This implies that he didn't remember any of the strange things that had happened in the Entries until he saw them for himself. Unless, of course, you want to assume that the Tim we know really isn't Tim at all, and that he's lied about EVERYTHING...

Of course, I'm not saying it isn't possible that Tim is withholding something-- even an incriminating tape, or something he's ashamed of. In fact, I think it holds with a lot of the other stuff we know about TTA/Hoody, because we know who he/she/they've been calling a Liar this entire time, and the word "LIAR" appearing on the screen when Hoody picked up the tape, again, holds with the idea that Tim might be hiding a tape. I just don't think that he pulled a Kralie in Entry 54.
