[PLEA] Crewmembers To any crewmembers who are going to the Live Training Excercise on the 4th and who won't need to try to get the DVD elsewhere...could you possibly allow me to use your crewname/info to get one of the DVD's? I can't make it to any of the DVD locations or the training excercise. Please PM if you can help me out. Thanks.

I don't think that you need to do this. On Nov 4 when they give out the DVD "logs" at the "27 locations" around the US, they only ask for the passphrase, not an ID. (According to the various other posts on unfiction about the topic.) If you can't make it to either the "cache" or the "training exercise" then you just send in your address after Nov 4 (it appears to me).
No special ID required. Heck, some of the people going to the training exercises have given "fake" crew names and never participated in the ARG but have been accepted for the Nov 4 gig.
Just send in an email with your address and say "PLEASE!"

But in her post she says that trusted friends (a.k.a. crew who can't make it) should email Dana if they can't make it to the training or the cache. But I never got to answer axons, so I never made crew...would Dana still send me one?

thebruce and others have received confirmation already that they are being taken care of by the PMs. Presumably if you've contributed to the ARG you also can get SWAG. (And you did join unfiction before "Wide Awake and Physical")
If you need to "provide proof of your loyalty" send them your registration info from unfiction.

If u want check my topic...theres a few suggestions. And i mean the worse they can do is just not respond. There going to give confirmations to people probably after the RSVP's are done according to the letters recieved. There probably going to see how many they have left and send out on a first come first serve basis. Also dont fake it if ur going to email...just be truthful and polite. Also the registration info was a good idea...i told in my email that i sent an email to dana b4 wide awake and physical so they might consider me in that regard 2....

well, it wasn't instant... I waited impatiently for a few hours... like 3 or 4 I believe... I got my reply after reports started trickling in of replies, so I'm pretty sure it isn't a matter of a period of time before a reply... it's just, that's when they started sifting through the emails...

All you need to have for identification is the pass phrase: "The Operator said you had something for me."
Something like that.
As a side note, I'm changing my opinion. I believe the PMs changed the date from the 7th to the 4th, because they heard that some ARGNers would try to get multiple DVDs.

If I can give Dana my address even though I wasn't crew, then there's still hope, huh? Very very good. I would very much like something to commemorate this ARG, and all the friends I've made through it. Now, all I need is 1 more post to reach 100. That'll look good, hopefully.

Question: Is the DVD just a recording of all the .wavs?

I would think that if it were just going to be the .wavs they could put it on a cd. Does anyone know if/how much more expensive is it to make a DVD?

Wait, so is Dana answering requests for the Transmissions Log now?
I only recently got into this ilovebees thing, but I want to be able to sit down and understand what happened... I saw it when the site first went up, but I didn't realize it had escalated to this intensity. =P
I'm just hoping that Melissa will judge me worthy to have the transmissions log...
