Oh sure, our final axon just has to be one in the bank of phones that don't ring for incoming calls. One more day of pressing my head near the phone to hear the barely audible "click". They couldn't make it easy and choose the other locations where the phones actually ring, could they?
Oh well. Team Wisconsin will have things covered and pick up our...*sniff*... final axon.

If the phones ring at the precise time, perhaps you could sync your watch with the atomic clock and pick up the receiver 10 seconds after the exact time? That would give it time to make the call and ring for a moment. If you get a dialtone, just put it back quickly, wait 10 seconds, and repeat. It should give you quite large a chance to get it...

I tried to grab that one sunday with no luck, but there's three phones right near the coordinates. If you've answered that one before that's rad and i'll probably show up anyway, but if not i'm happy to help to make sure it's nailed down.

I will be taking a personal call, possibly two. If I take two AGAIN this week, then the PMs will have really messed up. ^_^ Last week, I got listed as Alchemist twice, one replacing Artemis, and I got calls from both of them. And this week, Artemis and Alchemist are still on the list!

Looks like the OKC axon is going to go unanswered this time. Angelo and I will both be en route during the payphone call. I'm going to see if Angelo doesn't mind me forwarding the calls coming to my home to his cell phone so I don't miss my personal call (man, I knew there was something I forgot to ask him last time we talked).
Hey Angelo, do you mind if I forward the calls from my home to your cell phone on Thursday?

Stormy in Brandon Well I'll be sneaking off the jobsite to hit the Brandon Library Axon. I answered the calls there Sunday. It was strange though, the phone never made a peep for the 1st set of 3 that hit that axon, but the 2nd set of 3 came through fine...I think I might just get nostalgic for my old axon. It had...character as you can see!

We'll have all of the Arizona axons covered, along with our personal calls. Some of our regulars are also flying out but those of us who can't make it out will hold down the fort.
Did anyone else get their XBOX Magazine Halo 2 World Premier editon?SWEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!! That's all I'm saying.

Chicago Axons Does anyone know where exactly the two remaining chicago axons are? I'm gonna give them a try and would love any help anyone from the area can offer.

oh man! 4:06pm for me (i'm at work), and its STILL a payphone, if it was my cel, it'd be no problem
but hey! Pita gets the LAST axon, like ever
way ta' go girl!
Man it would be so much easier if this one were like a half-an hour later, but I'm going to try to make it. I'd love to answer an axon before this is all over! CoffeeJedi, have you answered this one before? Mappoint says it is on Rt 999, where is it in relation to... say... the Manor Cinemas?

Here are the 2 chicago ones, I might go to these, not sure yet because I want to try to get to shaumburg early. I have answered these phones for a few axons before.

I think it misses you. It just doesn't ring the same way, more of a mourning cry than a shrill ring.
Of course, you know they'll repair that phone on the 5th.
