Is anybody making progress? Is anybody still trying?
I try a few anagram possibilities here and there. (I'm rather attached to idea that the 6-letter one is PSYOPS 'cause it was seen on Jack Miller's blog, but that hunch hasn't gotten me anywhere, clearly). None of the guesses I have lined up to try seem all that stellar, or really manage to makes sense of the clue. Feeling a bit discouraged with this one, but part of that is just that it takes a good chunk of time just to enter a guess. Yeah, yeah, patience is virtual. Great.
I feel like I'm missing something, like it's back-to-the-drawing board time. I certainly don't want to let this die, especially if the solve is right under our noses.
It seems like most of the Brain Lock answers have related back to things y'all found on bristelgoodman.com. Since that stuff has been wiped off the face of the internets, is there any way to look through it (besides the things that have been uploaded here)?

The Wayback Machine's got a few crawls archived. This one from October 2007 is pretty close to the end. The only one in 2008 is empty.

Here's what I have for where each answer was found:
Quote:
twelve gates (WGM7)
RHINO sealant level event (WGM6)
Levy Street (rhinohi239.pdf)
MKUltra (WGM3)
Farsight (google)
If anyone can find Farsight in the files we have unlocked, it probably means this next answer is in there too. I can't find it, but maybe I'm missing something. If not, then this next answer also may not be in the blog or other documents. At first I thought they were all in the blog posts but two are missing. Maybe we should get a list going of what we've tried so far, since it's such a pain to enter an answer. I can't remember what I tried before but just now I tried "Jack Miller" and "Rasa Tabula."

I couldn't find anything related to John Dalberg-Acton that fits the next password (4 letters/6 letters). I'm stumped.
I've read the Wikipedia page on this guy a hundred times. Looking for combinations of 4 and 6 letter words. I'll save you all from the gory details. The solution is a name.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There are 4 people's names that fit the criteria (4/6). One of them has a direct link to the "USPD" ("Unabhängige Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands") one of the alternatives to "MOBY" that Jabroni found. The name belongs to the man assassinated by Acton's nephew Anton von Padua Alfred Emil Hubert Georg Graf von Arco auf Valley: Kurt Eisner and it unlocks the next clue.
Anyone got a drink?

Damn great work!
Here's an image of the next puzzle. No hint for how many letters or words for this one.
I checked for it for Basic ROT but nothing stuck out. Maybe an anagram of one of the ROT results.

I don't have anything yet, but I did find the font used in the photo. It's called Still Time . I wasn't sure what the last letters were but using this font the text is:
I agree that a rot of this is probably the right idea. For something like vigenere we'd need a keyword and there aren't any other clues. Also not having the answer length makes me think that the answer will be the same as the cipher text. I'd say either rot and something else, or just a substitution cipher?

I've tried every ROT and anagram of every ROT that I could find. Nothing.
Ideas, anyone?

Thought to post this so all the regulars here could carry on with the really difficult & bril work of clue finding.
"Kyiaggvzg Tfptrr" Solve

It's a Vigenére Cipher with the keyword 'rhino' deciphering to: Transport Foiled

Nice job! I was trying to find an anagram but there are so many possibilities. The only thing that stands out is the word "Operation" but that only leaves "rstfld" so I don't think that's it.

Another word that shows up is "footprints". (Sounds very clue-like to me.) That leaves us with d, e, r, a, and l.
Alder, Lad Re, Rad El, La Red?

Not me. I checked the source of the brain lock page to see if any hints were left to help us, but I don't see anything new.

Meh? I think I found "something" but not sure where to go with it.
I googled all the combinations of Lovetick's last posting. When
I tried "footprints radel" I got another link to a smiley face case.
Now what?

Nice find. I tried "Scott Radel" and "Scot Radel" (saw both spellings on different sites). No luck. I'm at work now so I'll try some other things when I get home.
