Not to spam the forums but....
This series is actually pretty good. It's got a very Blair Witch Project feel to it. The acting is realistic and I like the distortion effects. The story is about three late 20s people who film a documentary about a mysterious Naval base where 3000 people disappeared with no explanation, not even in the papers. I'm not sure if it's related to Slender Man or not just yet. I guess I'll have too see.

 		probably the Weymouth Naval Air Base, but theres actually A LOT of abandoned military bases here in mass so it could be any number of them. some pretty interesting vids though, i'll have to keep an on this

Watched the videos..

Log 1 is an introduction movie on west naval, and who they are and their purpose..
We have 2 names from here a Parker and Emma
It has some interesting maps sitting on the table at 1:20
Anyone know where exactly those maps point to? its west naval, but where exactly is this?

log 2: This movie is showing them walking through the woods to go to west naval, but it ends when they reach the premise..

Log 2.5 a continuation of log 2, walking through the woods, reaching the base, a walk over the base and some base speculations

Log 3: A video explaining what happens after log 2, but with some very bad audio. at the end they are going to collect Emma and then on to the base

Log 4 A nightly trespassing session over the base, and an adjacent cemetery the cameraman gets hit in the head..

a phone number at 2:14 - 921-3333
and a gravestone at 6:58 - can someone read what it says?
An interesting lit object at 7:14 any idea what this is?

Log 5 a log by the cameraman stating he quit the job and is thinking of coming home to Louisiana. gets a phonecall, and emma quit as well. Randall is convinced to return. Then an interview with some local men about the base and the weird stuff on it.

 		I would have to rewatch the vid to double check and make sure, but I dont think the maps actually point to much. I'm from mass, different part tho, but I'm pretty sure theres no base in that area, just open land. I'll make sure later tonight after work

 		The plane in video 2.5 has the markers AFCM Paul David Lagle on the side. Not pulling anything up on that name, and I can't quite catch the patch. AFCM makes me think it's a joint Naval/Air base. The markings on the tail of plane further confirm this, as it's an Air Force emblem, with Naval aircraft markers (NAVY VP-21), tail number 128392.

A little search gave me this: VP-21 Redesignated: 01SEP48 | Disestablished: 21NOV69 - Stationed at Quonset Point Naval Air Station, Rhode Island. (VP-21 being the identifier of the squadron, or unit number)

BUT! The military has a tendency to stuff nifty vehicles at random places that have nothing to do with the base they're on, just to add to the aesthetics. I know we have a Cobra hanging out on post that used to belong to a disestablished unit that called Hawaii home. Sometimes you can find out where the decorative aircraft got put, but so far I'm coming up with blanks.

Honestly, looking around, it's looking more and more like Hanscom AFB, near Bedford . ETA- Further digging shows me a map for NAS Brunswick, Maine. I'll put together a map, and...yeah. Maine. http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s73/Scarlytte/argafb2_zps75737137.png

About Brunswick - "Built in 1943. The base closed on May 31, 2011, as per the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure committee decision. As of November 28, 2009, the last aircraft (P-3 Orions) left. I know, you're thinking, "But it looks abandoned!" Well, military bases are creepy things. They can look abandoned at any time of the day really, and considering they seem to be hanging out near the hangars....oh yeah, they're definitely going to look abandoned because no one's at work. Heck, right now it looks abandoned on the post I'm stationed at. No one outside, no one driving around, quiet as hell. It's really creepy sometimes, especially when the fog rolls in. So even if it's not fully abandoned, it can look totally abandoned depending.


And there's my $0.02. Back to watching the rest. I got caught up on 2.5.

ETA - Those phone numbers (921-3333 and 921-2200) look like DSN numbers (Military phone system). I'm reeeaaally tempted to go to the office and call them.
