Fun fact: one of sandy hook's tourist attractions is a lighthouse built in 1764--it is the oldest lighthouse still standing in the US.

Hey everybody!

I was at the Seattle dead drop, too. That's me mentioning "wibbly wobbly timey wimey" at the very beginning of the video.

It's been ages since I've followed an ARG, but I think I'm on board with this one Very Happy

Now I'm outright curious how to produce a good quality solve of the solution. I really liked that puzzle.

So agreed, the production value of this one is awesome and part of what's keeping me hooked! Well that and the mystery of it all has dug into my brain.

 Painting Sailboats
James Butterworth

I was looking for hidden clues in all the photos and/or painting, and there is a website that has a list of all the paintings this guy has done, including the BlackHollow page painting. He has a lot of stuff to do with Lighthouses and Sandy Hook and ships. Maybe worth looking in to. He was born 1817 in London. Moved to New Jersey and died in 1894. But it's strange because his father seems to have a connection somehow, or maybe that's just me. Here is the wiki and another page detailing his work.

Not sure what's happening with the second drop (I heard that coords were up on Twitter somewhere?), but the tumblr has updated with a new teaser pic.

Location of 3rd drop maybe?

Eggz we're still on the second drop.

So Lobo you were wanting to head to Sandyhook, think your up for it this weekend? Just need to figure out where this is. Looks like a major park and I think I see water in the background.

I'm on the National Parks Service website looking at the Sandy Hook unit, and at the bottom of the "Maps" page is this little tidbit:

Quote:
Did you know that the Sandy Hook Light was dimmed in World War II and painted in camoflague? Homes and businesses within five miles of the ocean were required to use blackout curtains in order to protect ships from attacks by German U-Boats.

Trying to look around for photos from inside the park to see if I can find the location int he photo. Work firewalls are making it harder than it has to be :/

EDIT: There's a Google Earth map pack that highlights special places in the park. Can't use it while at work, so it will either have to wait till I get home, or if someone else wants to try it.

Based on what we have I'm willing to bet we won't get a specific location for drop two until the 3rd, but when we do it'll probably be written out in the RAF code (just like last weekend on the 27th with the encrypted code).
