Didn't Tim say that 73 wasn't the first time Hoody had stolen meds from him? I'm wondering if that could mean that it isn't the first time Hoody has broken in Tim's house. Hoody may have left that tape there and, seeing the box, checked to see if it was still there. Since it was, he then showed them the tape. I also get the idea that Hoody knows what is on the tape, hence the "Liar". Also wonder if the real reason Tim wants to go back is for the tape. Out of refills? Call your doc and go to the pharmacy.

I'm thinking he probably meant #61.

Sometimes you should just forget about OOG elements when an entry takes too long.

- Jay is out of it, he can't make any videos because of that
- Tim is unfamiliar with making videos, it doesn't concern him as much
- Jay told Tim to film if things ever got out of hand, Tim was probably filming Jay this whole time
- Tim finally catches Jay when he thinks he's as sane as he will be, remembers that there is a community watching and decides to upload
- Forgetting to mention the tape:
- He simply forgot
- He doesn't want to let Jay worry even more, so doesn't mention it
- Since Jay is out of it, maybe Tim wants to take the tape and view it on his own first, then if it's safe he'll show it to Jay

Tim's facial hair has grown to become quite exquisite

So, Alex has officially had 1 month to watch Entry #73 and find the tape in the house. So either this tape is of no worth to Alex or it is long gone...

Also, regarding Tim 'choosing' to not mention the tape to Jay, couldn't Jay just watch Entry #73 and be like 'WTF, you didn't mention the tape?!'

Maybe I'm confused or missing something here...

@wassupbro: oh god he's everywhere! Wink

@KTsteve: You're right; Alex's goal was to find TO, and Jay's goal was to find Alex (and then Jessica). I'm just baffled by the fact that a person could recover footage like the teleportation/near drowning/dead body discovery that was Entry #65 and then never mention it again.

OOG:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I don't necessarily disagree with you, I just hope you're wrong. A whole "this is The Operator and these are his powers" sequence would just be a retread of what we the viewers already know and only bog things down when they're supposed to be ramping up. In the same way, a Reservoir Dogs style standoff between Alex and Jay and Tim would reduce the supernatural horror that I think we all come here for to "who can shoot who first with bullets."

I'm just concerned that time is running out and there is so much left for Jay and Tim to do.

Can we please stop with the OOG talk in an ENTRY THREAD??? For fucks sake we have an off topic thread specifically for this shit. Let me direct you to it:

Calm down, dude. That's why I put it in spoiler tags and only mentioned it once. I said something because it was directly related to the whole "entry taking too long" discussion, so it would be pointless for me to mention it somewhere else.

Back to the entry. Has anyone considered the possibility that maybe there are some time discrepancies here? I know I said earlier that this is all in real-time, and I still believe it is, but the idea that videos are being uploaded much later than they were actually recorded is still plausible, and rather interesting as well.

So, in this instance, maybe #74 was actually recorded shortly after Tim discovered #73. He could have held on to the video until right before they actually went back to Tim's house (meaning Alex wouldn't know of their plans ahead of time but Jay and Tim's conversation would be out there just in case something happened to them). If that's the case, the events of #75 could have already happened...or could be happening right now. *DUHN DUHN DUUUHN*

So...when would #75 be uploaded? Really depends on what happens to Jay and Tim, I guess.

Maybe the tape is of worth to Alex, but it's nothing he'd want to take himself. If it reveals something about Tim that he's ashamed of, or something that could damage the trust between Tim and Jay, he might want them to find it.

As for your second point: Jay might not be interested in seeing #73 at all. And if he does, Tim could easily just say, "You were still pretty out of it, and there was a lot to talk about already. I didn't want to overwhelm you." Jay's pretty dependent on Tim now, and he knows it's only going to get worse (that's why he's so stubbornly in denial). So he's kind of left with no choice but to go along with whatever Tim tells him. Interesting, eh?

Indeed, it has. Could it be symbolic, perhaps? (Just joking, nobody jump on me for that.)

Wasn't referring to you, CenturyChild
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I was referring to the idiots bitching about the time in between entries and production value without a spoiler tag in the entry thread.

Wow Jay sure was being pretty fucking snotty. I really hope they aren't setting him up to become evil like Alex or something.

- TIM MIGHT BE LIKE ALEX Troseph screams out to us.
- Oh my God, Introduction callback.
- Those windscreen wipers. NEVER SLEEP AGAIN. (It seems that horror has messed up my, the air conditioning at my local TAFE sounds exactly like the Slient Hill static. I'm so productive there Sad)
- JAY IS OUT AND COMPLETLY OUT OF IT LIKE ENTRY #23.
- Oh my God, the season one nostalgia.
- "I've been sharing my medication with you." Oh, Tim, I know you kind of socially inept, but DEAR GOD MAN, maybe when Jay just finally gets back to conciousness, it might not be a good idea.
- Jay's reaction - perfect. NOTHING COULD GO WRONG WITH SOMEONE GIVING YOU MEDICATION THAT WASN'T PRESCRIBED FOR YOU.
- Oh my God, the bed...Tim being in Jay's room - Entry #18 callback.
-Not sure about the whole Alex being in Tim's house thing and living in his attic. It's a bit 'naff and silly. What are you, a dog, Alex? Really?
- But then the possibility of Amy being trapped up there freaks the hell out of me.
- Hoody, stealing a mentally ill man's medication, classy. COULD YOU BE ANYMORE OF A TROLL?
- "Oh, let's go there where one dangerous madman currently lives and one pops in from time to time. NOTHING COULD GO WRONG HERE."
- Guys, look at your lives, LOOK AT YOUR CHOICES.
- "It's my house." Guys, c'mon, what is this a pissing contest?

I actually agree with the Twisty Puppetmaster of Puppets, although I would've gone about informing everyone a little less harshly. There are plenty of people who value keeping their immersion (I, myself, still have my immersion mostly intact for EMH), and I've never understood why OOG things in Entry threads are frequently not-spoilered. It's kind of disrespectful, considering it doesn't take all that long to spoiler text. Move to the off-topic thread if you're too lazy to spoiler your OOG shenanigans.

Does it bother anyone other than me that this episode kind of falls into a "before I kill you, Mr. Bond" moment? I mean, you're being stalked, and people are hacking your YouTube and Twitter accounts and CLEARLY following your every move, but you're okay with discussing your plans on tape and then posting it up?

"We're going back to my house," says Tim, and somewhere, sitting in front of a computer and watching YouTube, Alex and TO look at each other and smile (even though TO has no actual smile, it's kind of a metaphorical grin, you see) because now they can be all ready.

Whaaaa?

What would really impress me is if the lads used this hop-skip of logic and made it so that this open discussion was actually planned to lure Alex into the open. That would have some clever on it.

Not really because in game time they already went to the house right after this was filmed. Remember jay saying "I'm ready when you are" and Tim saying "lets eat something first"

Fuck it I'm going to say it. Why doesn't Tim call the police if Alex is in his attic?

Probably because in-game, the police tend to be skeptical about things like this, and it is a strange scenario to begin with: There's someone hiding in your attic, and you found this out when someone else broke into your home and recorded the act and uploaded the video to YouTube after having hacked your account.

"I sent my friend over to my old house to get some of my medication and he found this guy sneaking around in there. My friend managed to sneak out without him noticing, and I think that guy might still be in there."

So, this is my theory. Laugh at it if you will...

So, the last person who saw Jessica in Entry 33 was Masky / Tim. Something happened to her, and she vanished. We do not know what happened, but her disappearance has remained as a driving force behind Jay's involvement.

Masky knows what happened to Jessica. Tim may also know what happened to her. I believe the video tape that Hoody found hidden in Tim's house may reveal Jessica's fate.

Whatever that fate is, I doubt it is good. I suspect that something about it would be enough to make Jay split with Tim, and that is why Tim hid it. Hoody also knows what's on that tape, and that Tim / Masky is intentionally keeping Jay in the dark about it, as to have an ally against Alex.

That is what the "HE IS A LIAR" graffiti is about, and why the video flashes "LIAR" when Hoody finds it.

Tim not mentioning the tape when he told Jay about Entry 73 confirms that Tim knows what is on that tape, and does not want Jay to see it. Which may lead to Alex having watched it, and he might use that knowledge against Tim & Jay during the upcoming confrontation.

Which begs to ask what Hoody's end goal is at this point.
