You'd think Sony would actually pay attention to its marketing. The "viral" is a recognized marketing strategy...

Some new activity There have been a couple things happening with this in the past week or so. First, they apologized on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/ItsBetterUpThere ) for budget cuts in the services sector preventing them from updating the page. Then they replaced the border agent with border agent #002237.
Today they have begun updating the http://www.armadyne.net site although it looks to still be very much a work-in-progress.
That page leads to a new twitter account tied to the movie - https://twitter.com/elysium.
These mostly seem to be movie marketing but I thought I'd let people know who have been following this in case it leads somewhere.
The movie is due to be released August 9th.

Http://www.Itsbetterupthere.com has been updated also. I'm not sure if this was there before, but there is a registration button to keep updated on any changes to the site.
Edit: I think this is a new site

I tried over 25 times, and the best I could do was to get in the top 1% of rejections, so I left the site after one of those. I don't think there's a way to win/be accepted at this time.

I don't believe its possible to get "accepted", took it several times, with mic and without mic and just couldn't get by.
edit: and because I'm slow at typing, not the only who's tried multiple times

I thinks its so we can get the feel of who only a selected few ever get accepted to go to Elysium.

Guessing that not getting accepted is the point, given the plot of the movie. Now we sit back and wait for someone to offer to graft exoskeletons to our bodies and force our way in.
