At this point I have no plans Saturday morning so I could head up there early morning, and be downtown Toronto by 9:30am.

Fun fact: I was just at Gibraltar Point light house back in February. Had no idea it was Toronto's oldest light house and 200 years old Smile

If that dosnt look like like a drop location.

But it does bring up a thought. Has anyone checked to see if all the drop locations have lighthouses?

Seattle does have a lighthouse, two in fact according to google maps, but the drop wasn't near either. Rather in a tree by a park overlooking the city rather than the water.

Specifically with this view Smile (courtesy of notgordian)

Yeah the drop wasn't at the lighthouse, but it was near ARGFest-O-Con so it could be an exception. Who knows just posing thoughts. LOL

So out of curiosity I decided to check the list of cities. It's probably nothing but I figured I'd share what I found.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Seattle Lighthouse
San Francisco Lighthouse
Los Angeles Lighthouse
Las Vegas The Luxxor could be a lighthouse LOL
Dallas There is a Lighthouse College
Atlanta
Chicago Lighthouse
Toronto Lighthouse
Pittsburgh
Philadelphia Lighthouse
Sandy Hook Lighthouse
New York Lighthouse
Glasgow "The Glasgow Lighthouse the national centre for design and architecture"
SouthHampton Lighthouse
Copenhagen Lighthouse
Malmo Lighthouse

im sure the lighthouse was something they wanted to include but it probably came down to "where do we have people who can place things." :p

the drop at sandy hook was at a lighthouse but not the one i was expecting. i have a feeling that is because of its location. the oldest lighthouse is in a very busy and exposed area. the drop probably would have been found and maybe called in as a bomb threat lol the one where it was left is very secluded and there was barely anyone around.

Very valid point. With some of these places any hidden package could alert people.

IHas anyone thought of any questions we could ask The Mechanic?

I have a good one: How are the Artist's paintings in the RMS Galatia boxes? Is it likely the Operative included them himself? Or variation (Note that the text written on the back of each is in French, and the Operative is American living in the UK)

I'm not on tumblr, so feel free and ask that for me.

i have to say SUPER COOL hearing my SN in that sound clip.

Right! It was nice to see you and your accomplice get proper respect for your great feet on the ground road trip! (To bad about the rain though) Sad

Seattle lighthouse- The Seattle drop was "in the vicinity of" and actually towards Discovery Park Lighthouse. But as you said, it's easy to see why it was moved towards where the action was.

Eggz I asked for you.

Eggz isn't on tumbler and wanted me to ask: Do you think the paintings in the fragments were placed there by the Operative? Also did the Operative speak French?

Just got a reply for you Eggz Smile

He did not, certainly not well. He did spend some time there, however.

What you need to realize, though I accept it is quite a difficult concept to understand, is that the idea of what a fragment truly is. It is quite literally a shard from a broken reality. When the device is used, things get…over-written, to put it in modern terms. But that raw information does not just disappear. It cannot.

Ahh ok. That makes sense. So the shards are like multiple data files corrupting and splicing together as they're going through. That's how we have stuff from Operative (audio files/usb), the Mathematiciam (journal pages), and Artist (paintings). Maybe there are multiple points of entry in 1943, but only single points of exit now.

Yeah. It also sounds like what we're seeing is parts of a past that's been rewritten. Something that changed in the past and is breaking through now.

Oh and on a side note, as I'm not sure if we have anyone who is overseas on this one. I have been able to get us someone who will get the Glasgow drop when ever that one gets activated Smile

i like the explanation of the fragments. that they are not just items traveling through time but multiple items converging as they travel.

and yeah, maybe we should start trying to find people in areas where we are not. doesnt seem like a ton of people working on this one.
