It would probably work, but I still see too problems.

1. Even if Jay tied Tim down and deprived him of pills, there would probably still need to be something that triggers Masky to take over (Slender attack?) so they could be waiting a long time

2. We have never seen Tim talk or communicate in any way when he is in his Masky state, I always assumed he couldn't.

Masky spoke during Entry #####

That was totheark.

Hence the "you will lead me to the ark".

1. Yes, it was TTA in Entry ######. At the time, most of us (including Jay himself) thought that Masky was TTA, but since then we've changed our consensus.

2. Masky has indeed spoken before. In #18, after he has his seizure, when Jay tries to remove his mask, he shouts "NO!" and attacks. Just because he doesn't speak often doesn't mean he's mute. He may not speak for the same reason he wears a mask—the only reason someone would wear a mask is to keep their identity a secret.

Actually now that you mention it seeing Tim's expression during Masky state would be super interesting.

Pretty sure you can see it in the entry where Tim and Masky beat up Alex in the hospital during the day

All you see is an angry expression and who knows if that's from being Masky or because you know, 2 guys JUST TACKLED HIM TO THE FLOOR. I'd be pretty pissed if that happened to me.

Though I think it'd be interesting to see Tim maybe forcibly go into his Masky state of his own choice to maybe help combat "Masky-State Hoodie" (since that seems to be what everyone thinks is going on with Hoodie with the new TTA.

Maybe that's not hoody's masky state, but instead him just simply going insane due to a lack of pills

There are at least three times when Tim was unmasked during Masky mode:

Entry #35: Jay ripped off Tim's mask when Alex had him subdued in the abandoned building.

Entry #61: After having a seizure, Tim converted into "Masky" state. Shortly after, he got up and staggered away. Due to the quality, his facial expression was difficult to make out but it's clear that it was dazed and disoriented.

Entry #64: Many people believed that Tim was in "Masky" state when Jay found him sitting in his car. At this time his face was also dazed and there were familiar dark circles around his eyes.

What entry are you referring to? I'm assuming #65 #67. "Tim and Masky" are the same person.

I don't ever recall Tim being tackled to the floor by two people, unless you're referring to Entry #35. Can you tell me when this happened?

Umm... Which is what happens to Tim. And he becomes Masky. So when it happens to Hoody, he becomes... TTA. We have to remember that the names Hoody and Masky, and the concept of referring to a person as TTA, are fan introduced nicknames. It's merely a way to describe an individual whom we have trouble discussing otherwise. Operator influence+no pills=insane version of person.

Craig, don't play dumb... Yes, Entry 35, Jay and Alex tackle Masky to the floor. Why would you even say "unless you're referring to Entry #35"?? Of course he is, that's when it happens...

And also. Alex isn't even in 65, are you thinking of the Entry where Hoody and Tim beat and then almost shoot Alex? Cause that's definitely not 65. You must mean 67.

Mr. Digsby doesn't play dumb. Wink I say "unless you're referring to Entry #35" because Marble Hornets mentioned an entry where Tim beats up Alex in the hospital. This, I assumed, would be Entry #67. Ztakk responded with: "All you see is an angry expression and who knows if that's from being Masky or because you know, 2 guys JUST TACKLED HIM TO THE FLOOR." That can't be right — no one tackled Tim in #65. Why did Ztakk suddenly mention a totally different entry? I'm sorry but I may be missing something here.

You're right, that was a typo. I've went back and fixed it.

Pardon me if I came off as rude, Mr. Digsby. Ztakk probably was mentally referencing several entries at once. Anytime I do this I try to state exact numbers for reference but not everyone does. The best one is when someone calls a character by a different character's name; I've read some posts like that where I was like HUH?!? I guess I just automatically assumed he meant 35 given that it is the only applicable Entry to the scenario he described, but you're right to point out that if he was saying that happened in a different one, he's quite mistaken.

All's fine in the eyes of Timnature, my good fellow.

I misread what was said before for whatever reason I thought Marble Hornets was talking about the scene where Jay and Alex unmasked Tim, but either way we saw his face in the his Masky mode there and it was pissed.

(sorry for confusion >_<)
