I know Ceantari is the talented one here (and please let me know if you made something and I will back down), but, with a little help, I made a logo for the SF Killer Bees that I plan to print onto stickers, complete with a space at the bottom for people to write their names. I hope everyone will wear one to show local pride. Smile

I think we should all meet beforehand, around 5:30, maybe at the 4th Street Bar and Deli, directly across 4th Street from the Metreon. What do you think? I think it is interesting that on the url I send, they list their address as 777 Market Street. Buh? It must be a sign! Wink

w00t! You rock!

I'm all for meeting at 5:30, assuming that they don't usher us in to the event area as soon as we sign up. How about we meet at 4:30, AND at 5:30 (if they haven't ushered us to the super sekret event area) by that time?? Cool

So what I'm seeing as the ARGfest schedule so far is:

PST 12hr format

10:00AM - 1:44PM axon hunting
4:30PM - 5:30PM meet at 4th street bar and deli
4:45PM-5:45PM check in for training
6:00PM - 9:00PM training
9:00PM - 12:01AM Mel's
12:01AM - ~2:00AM watch The Incredibles
2:00AM - ? ??????
? Sleep?

Please correct me if I'm wrong and update me if I've missed anything.

What % of people are planning on including the "Sleep" portion of the schedule? And if so, where? I know there are some locals that have offered their places to crash, but the trains/etc stop running after midnight right? making it pretty hard to get to those locals places if you are planning on staying to watch the movie.

weephun, that so sounds like a good plan.

I'll be with the crew till around 11:30-11:45, then I got to catch the last BART train home. (Plus I have work in the morning, but I wouldn't miss meeting and hanging out with the rest of you wonderful beekeepers for anything.) Very Happy

Ok, I had two brain farts when I wrote that last post.

First of all, I MEANT 4:30, because I wanted it to be before we signed in and second, the 4th Street Bar and Deli is directly across MISSION Street from the Metreon.

Sorry about that and thanks for noticing, Mazian. Smile

Good plan, weephun. I am one who cannot go see "The Incredibles" due to public transportation constraints.

I'm gonna have to back down on "The Incredibles" too. I won't be conscious enough to even watch it. Midnight is my sleepy hr. ^_^

Here's a list of local theatres with showtimes/costs:

Metreon
AMC 1000 Van Ness
Kabuki 8

So, those of us staying for the movie (aka past when the public transport runs), what are lodging plans?

If somebody already has a room, maybe MadCow and I can pitch in to help and stay with you.

Otherwise, we'll probably get one ourselves (which will be the cheapest place possible I can find). Let me know if you want to stay with us.

I'm just trying to figure all this out today so I can get the reservations made if I need to.

I was just gonna play it by ear. If I feel awake enough, I'll stick around for the movie and then maybe take a cab to the airport and hang there until my early flight, unless there's someplace around the Metreon to hang out until 4am. Happy to share cabfare with anyone who wants to cabshare.

Note: If you haven't heard, all the major and some smaller hotels in SF have picket-line strikes. They've been at it for some time now.

EDIT: Makes listening to the payphones a little difficult. ^_-

I'll definitely share fare. (Wait, that sounds weird.) That sounds like what my plan is going to be as well.
