Just thought of something:

Seems like this is the first time in a while where the entry upload and the twitter page have been updated so close together.

Don't know whether it's relevant/significant but I thought I would point it out.

Jay's probably alone right now, with free time. He feels lonely, he resorts to the people he feels appreciate im the most, his viewers. So he is updates twitter cause of that

Wow, so many old faces returning!

So far, my favorite theory on the tape is it being Jessica's death. It makes a lot of sense, her being Jay's primary motivation for continuing. If she turned out to have been dead, I think Jay might just shutdown and try to abandon the cause, hence, "It'll ruin everything we've worked for".
