I don't remember the first go around (AKA "Lukas & Carol") but it looks like this is gonna start up again during WyrdCon in Sept.

To me, that's stretching the boundaries of what we do around here. My impression is that this will be more like an Augmented Reality Game.

this looks indeed like an incarnation of LAGP.. not sure what the order of umbra is yet, but I think we will find out..

The main page has some letters on the gate, can anyone decipher those?
it looks like hebrew to me, but am not sure..

 		the letters look Enochian to me. I know I've seen them before. I'll be back...

yeah, from the previous chapter of this game, we had access to this page with similar writing:

yeah, just google for enochian, and you'll find some variations. I think I see SUSSIBA SIRO? The contrast is hard for me to see clearly.

 		It's been two years or so since I did the videos for the Order... and now I get a text from the same number posted above me:

Now, I sort of retired from completely obsessing myself with ARGs some time ago, but this has me slightly excited again. I feel like asking who the sender is before I answer yes or no. Good idea?

Also, this was a popular ARG years back, with its own main topic (I can't find)--maybe a merge is in Order? (puns lolol) I think the topic name had to do with the original guy Lukas who offed himself at that bridge. Wow, I sound so rusty. I don't even remember my candidate number... and I had a different laptop back then! D:

some interesting things:

  • the link to click is hidden, and says denrawneebevahuoy which is you have been warned backwards
  • the movie is called wollofot, which is to follow backwards
  • the leader is called tsitluccoeht, which is the occultist backwards
  • the url is owtegap, being page two backwards
  • in the movie at 0:17 a magnet appears, when the sound gets stopped for a few seconds
  • in the movie a sign that spells los angeles something theatre, so maybe a location can be gotten from that
  • the text says "the first step is ......... . What is the second step? i assume the first step is to follow, because of the movie name, and the indications in the movie, but what is that second step?
  • ends with a link to the orderofumbra

If they are repurposing the old stuff, this will confuse me. Be careful that you are following new trailheads and not just digging up old ones. I would have thought the WyrdCon event would involve new gameplay, and not be playable just from websites, so there may come a point at which we are stuck by being remote. Most of the web content being posted above is from the two-year-old game.

I still wouldn't merge the threads, unless the L.A. Ghost Patrol become involved.

Exactly this. I have been lurking. Didn't play the original but the subject is something that appeals to me, I really don't want to have to re read x amount of pages to catch up.

Could just be them building a little background story for those of us unfamiliar with the order. So IMO I would hang back on the re reading and just embrace the order As it is now.

Personally I would like to be leader of this order. Twisted Evil It does seem very interesting. Location based puts me off somewhat from being more active so I will still lurk and follow and perhaps imput if I can.

But I agree about not merging.
