What about this is giving you a "The Most Dangerous Game" vibe? I'm a fan of the story, but I have to say I'm not seeing the parallels. I'm not super attentive though, so I could be missing something big.

Got turned onto this from a FB post. Coming out of a long retirement to see what's going on with this....

Not the whole thing, just the 32 speech. Look through it and you'll see what I mean. They talk about sport, certain people looking good, waiting in a jungle, the triplets becoming twins, a chef.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but if you look at it from that perspective it does seem compelling.

So the video today is interesting.
Quote:
I went to a gallery downtown. I brought a friend who was having debt problems to try to cheer her up. It was an opening for one of those first wave financial artists who were breaking out at the time; I don't remember which one.
- "Financial Artists" is not a term I have ever come across. It is not, nor has it ever been a name for an artistic movement. This makes me wonder about the setting. The idea he can't remember who it is sort of suggests to me that the gallery is fake and a front for something.
-Also it is a bit of a dick move to take a broke friend to an exhibition about money.
Quote:
He rolled his eyes and explained that hosting this exhibit had won him no friends on the continent
-This also makes me wonder about it being a cover. Why would an art exhibition force someone to leave Milan just for curating it?
-Also there is a Bertrand model in economics. Called the Bertrand Competition it focuses on sellers and buyers and how they interact.

There was a write up on Buzzfeed 3 days ago. http://www.buzzfeed.com/sbkasulke/pronunciation-book-is-the-most-interesting-mystery-on-the-in
Some people think this is related to a new Battlestar Galactica or with the game Halo. Not sure I buy either, but it's an interesting read.

So, for those who were involved in TIMM, do you think (judging by what we've seen and know thus far) that this will be too confusing for people who weren't involved? I wasn't a part of TIMM, but I'm really interested in this so far, and I'm worried that if it's more of a continuation/sequel than a standalone I might have to abandon it because of all the references to TIMM.

As much as I *hope* that it's a TIMM continuation, I have not seen enough concrete evidence to support that connection... yet. If 77|PB turns out to be another chapter in the TIMM storyline/world I highly doubt that the PMs would alienate an entire group of potential players by making things too confusing. If you want to brush up on your TIMM knowledge check out the wiki: http://mymilwaukee.wikibruce.com/Home . While it was a pretty in depth game with some killer world building, it wont be too difficult to get a handle on the basics.

It looks like the audio data is finally starting to spell something.

Well it's not Terry Nanny, but I suppose it'll do.

That's what most people I have seen have been speculating. I've also seen speculation that it's Russian text too, though.
On a side note, I am MageRage from earlier, but I finally remembered/found my old account name while looking through the TIMM archives.
Amazingly, I was able to remember my old password, too.
I've been looking through the archives to help me compile this document about possible connection between Pronunciation Book and TIMM:

If any of the old TIMMers can offer assistance or suggestions, I'd be very grateful. Atropanocturna and I have been collaborating on it.

This one updates a little sooner than the other image, but is reversed.
Also, this tumblr seems to be posting quotes from the daily video before the video is posted so maybe keep an eye there as well:

My assumption at this point is that the full text will end up being
Code:
SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN
TOMORROW

The people behind the google doc have posted that the tumblr blog Let's Talk About Systems seems to be connected. All the gifs use a phrase from that day's video upload and posted around or before the video's upload. Gifs are really flashy so so if you have epilepsy you may want to stay away.

If this is related to TIMM I am going to absolutely lose my mind. I was seriously gutted when TIMM just petered out without any resolution.
Even if it's not, this is really interesting, I'll definitely keep an eye on it
Also the "western food" line made me laugh, does anyone else remember TIMM's references to "oriental food" all the time?
Edit - awww it's nice to see some old TIMM folks in this thread! Nostalgic Let's give gratitude to Cool Dog, cool and wise!
