Funny how I googled this just today after years of not thinking about it.

I see that she googled some flickr pics but I dont see anything interesting there. Is that twitter account "real"?... like that was a reliable source back in the day?

Interesting. Looking at the Twitter page, I see only one tweet since 2010, and it went up five hours ago, but it's exactly as you describe.

40°45' 33" N, 73°59' 05" W, for reference, is in NYC, near 7th Ave & W47th. In fact, according to Google Maps, it's in the middle of the road, in front of 717 7th Ave, New York, NY 10036, which is labelled (if you zoom in far enough) as 'The Most Powerful Company'. Street view reveals the building is actually a Doubletree hotel.

Well, it looks like we might have a revival...

in particular, the video that was posted by Raskovnik Raskovnik. I don't speak Spanish too hot so anyone who does some translation would be appreciated.

gist is chilean youth putting up Junsui related graffiti with a hint of Anonymous involved, and molotov cocktail-ing a cop car.

There's also a bunch of pictures of Junsui types dressed in fatigues toting AK's and RPG's mentioning something about a "black harmony"... No clue what that means, but it doesn't sound friendly/akin to a tea party...

Also of note, the video that was mentioned by gnosis...

the video depicts what appears to be the same fatigue garbed Junsui doing some not so humanitarian acts to the backdrop of Jihadist music.

Funny thing is that it looks like it came from Kavkhaz Center... Kavkhaz is a very reliable although very jihadist biased multimedia center/media outlet that tends to cater to REAL LIFE Jihadists primarily in the North Caucasus. I used to use it all the time when I was doing that sorta analysis for the army, so needless to say that really kinda freaked me out.

All that being said, what do you guys make of all this?

I'm not a moderator, but if this is indeed coming back, is there any way we might be able to take the Junko Junsui threads out of the archive and back into what's active?

It seems overly clear that there is a huge intention on this being active again, and what appears to be within a short timeframe...

Also, it appears the domains alfa-tsentr.ru and menoftaste.com have been reactivated. Alfa-tsentr.ru looks to have all of its original content. Menoftaste.com is blank except for a rather cryptic 3600==36000, and some google analytics script.
