As long as I get one of those DVD's, I'll be happy. You can have your lanyards. Unless they're ILB lanyards!

Ooooh. And I just made her list of trusted allies Sunday!
Thank you, Melissa!
We're supposed to email Dana (danatwingSPLAT gmail.com) after the training mission, right?

For those of you waiting for replies from Dana like I was, there is another small update to her blog.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this, but it was uploaded awhile ago and brought to my attention by fellow beekeepers in irc.
So, it looks like they will try to accomodate as many as possible at the "training missions" and "cache locations" and only mail DVDs as a last resort.
To me, that indicates that they will be more generous towards the "lottery campaign" at the training missions.
I hope so anyway.

Oops. a)I e-mailed too early, but at least I still have the text of that message on my HD; and b )I had my timezones mixed up in my last post, it would have actually been hours earlier at the message destination.

Doh! That's what I get for lurking. :( I've been a part of these forums from the beginning, but only starting actively posting on the Sleeping Princess puzzles a few weeks ago. I also sent in a picture of myself for one of Melissa's challenges but I think it was sent in too late because I wasn't credited as one of her crew members.
Seems I'm always in there too little too late.
Think she'll still count me as a crew member for sendign in the pics?
Also [SPEC?] is this the same DVD as the bonus DVD in the collector's edition of Halo 2? 'Cause I already ordered the CE.

Have you called the voice mail number? I sent pics and Flea code several times during the game, and never got a reply or acknowledgement. Then, last Friday, I called the voice mail box on a whim, not expecting anything, and Sunday (or was it Saturday when the recipe8 axons showed up?) my name was on the axon list and I recieved a cellphone call from Melissa. You might still have time.

According to Melissa, it's a log of her time here. So it's going to be mainly ILB, with possibly some Halo 2 things added. The Halo 2 extra DVD is more of a documentary "making of" I think.

Now hold on, we have no reason to assume only crew will get to have the stuff/swag sent to them. Remember, non-crew can go to the events now, so why should only crew get to send in their addresses for the whole thing?
Meh, mostly just my hopefulness, since I'm not crew (damn my living in Canada....)

now really, it just depends on what she means by 'trusted allies' But I'm willing to accept it's not just crew members, because I'm also not a crew member, but she (Dana) knows me as a trusted ally, so apparently I'm being taken care of... at least, just ask Dana and find out if you're eligible...

FWIW, I think that anyone who sends in an email address or mailing address will be eligable while supplies last . The PMs cannot barcode the players at the beginning and log hours spent playing the ILB ARG.
