[Trailhead] SMT: Cult of Gaia/Order of Messiah

Out of habit i looked in the page source and found these:

I have a few things to point out relating to the two sites:
1. try actually playing along, clicking on the images when a hand appears and sometimes when not, I found that is how to proceed through the gaia site (in other words, page source means nothing from what I have seen)
2. this does not seem to be related to SMT:4 since it is set in medieval times where COMPs do not exist and the gaia site mentions them.
3. you have to be quick on each page or you get redirected to the "new order" video, I think that new order means that the messian order is rising up again (perhaps hinting at a remake of SMT1 and 2 considering they feature the messian order taking power especially in 2) which is also supported by the way the interiors look-like the old SNES SMT titles.
4. anyone have an idea what "were we back there...?" or "the seraphs have left" could mean, found those 2 in the order of messiah page, the first was found when I clicked to continue too quick for the image to load. the second is the text that appears on the page once you click on the rubble in the centre of the first.

Most (if not all) of the pages have hidden comments in the source code. Just search for <!-- to easily find them. They're mostly at the bottom of the source code page.

I poked around a bit more, and found The Bornless Ritual scattered over several pages in this order: d1 d2 r6 mr13 r14 r15 fr17 r21 lr22 b1e h1

Also this was in one of the pages:

Some of the basement doors loop, one leads to the church, and it's implied that something happened in the church to cause it to be deserted.

For those, like me, who may be reading through this but have no idea what's being talked about, SMT is apparently a series of video games: Shin Megami Tensei. Including a new MMO, megaten.marvelous-usa.com, that's tagged in content for the Gaia site, so maybe a fan-based game to promote it?
