In season 2, its hard to fight the feeling that either TO is brain controlling Alex or blackmailing him into doing dirty work, or Alex can summon TO, or they are bros. The fact that the two of them are very related and connected is blatantly obvious. The scene where Alex does not flee The Operator appearing in his own house or even seem concerned (the Entry where Jay breaks in as Alex takes out the garbage) is a clear indicator. He didn't seem scared in 26, but he didn't even CARE in that one... Sketchy behavior to say the least. I'd like to think its a combination of mind control and blackmail, but maybe Alex is just an asshole. We'll know soon.

For me there is a definitive amount of questions I would have to see answered in order to conclude Marble Hornets properly. They include:

#1. The purpose and origin of the Operator.
#2. The identity of Hoody (and TTA if different persons)
#3. The reasoning of the Operator's connection with Alex.

Questions that could and remain unanswered:
#1. Whereabouts of Jessica, Amy and other characters of Marble Hornets.
#2. Reasoning of distortation in the videos in the presence of the Operator or so called "Slender Sick" persons.
#3. The pills and their meaning.

Thus far only Dark Harvest has taken a stab at generating an origin story for the Slender Man (Although I'm not a fan of the series I respect their attempt and like their original theory).

I must admit I like how Marble Hornets has kept things relatively neat and orderly compared to other series which have spiraled out of control. Most others became a confusing mess, or even with their excellence their time gaps between episodes makes them unwatchable. (Referring to Tribe Twelve and EMH there). Some were great but fail to update (Dead are Watching, Tulpa Effect).

I'm not saying its time to end Marble Hornets either, I'd rather just see some significant plot progress made.

The pills prevent and possibly cure Slender Sickness. I think this has been made pretty clear. We might get some clue as to TO motives but I doubt we'll get a real origin story. The rest I think will be answered before the end.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Honestly, I believe we will discover that TIM was the agent of the Operators appearance, not Alex. I think Alex was more receptive to it. Jay will die, and we will see Sarah and Jessica were being held as patients in the hospital. Seth and Brian are TTA, and they kill Tim. Alex finds Amy and they escape.

I'm as much of a fan of the series as any other diehard fan, but I can't see them ending it that great given the slopiness of this season. So many plot points/gaps could have been explained better, the pacing is pretty bad, and we can almost guarantee we won't see an awesome operator fight at the end cause they can't get him to move without having it look dumb

I never really at any point expected an "awesome Operator fight" because that would be wildly out of line with the feel of the rest of series. I think the climax of the series will probably be a straight up brawl with Alex, if anything. But Jay taking on a supernatural entity? That would be... too weird. I mean, I don't really know what you'd have in mind, but I can't see any way they could "fight" the Operator without it being ridiculously cheesy and inconsistent with its portrayal.

No, I'd say any epic fight scene would be against Alex. They might have TO get agressive a la Entry 65, but however they beat TO (if they beat it- and I think they will defeat TO in some manner, even if they don't permanently destroy it) is probably not going to be a head-to-head confrontation.

Not going to discuss the quality of this season at length here, but I like this season. Nowhere near as much as I liked S2 or the latter half of S1, but still.

Not saying I wanted a brawl, but seeing him move would have been nice. My main point was that I truly think they lost their creativity over the season 2 to 3 break. Some season 3 entries are really good, but the vast majority of them either don't advance the story enough, take too long to give such miniscule amounts of information, or are just there for callbacks but don't really help enhance the story (such as the entry where alex gives jay the tapes)

They're keeping people watching with one or two big mysteries and they're stalling on answering them. I'm not going to stop watching the series as I really enjoy it overall, but my expectations have dropped tenfold (ironically they have increased tenfold for darkharvest). Whether they don't allocate enough time to script writing/filming or whatever, I consistently feel dissapointed with entries and just dont' see them blowing our minds in these last few entries.

The best part is that no matter what, Marble Hornets will always be the best Slender ARG
