I wonder has it been confirmed that Alex is aware that there is a Twitter page, rather then just being aware of the Youtube page and response Youtube page(Totheark)?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I just imagine Alex sitting in his Alex lair, covered in scribbled papers of *insert sterotypical Operator scribble* just refreshing his black berry Twitter page.

Would be highly unlikely that if he knows about the youtube that he doesn't know about the twitter/tta. Given that us fans do, surely he does.

For some reason, I just got an image of a technologically challenged Alex trying to figure out what this Twitter site everyone keeps talking about is anyway.

I don't know why.

I could see it. After all, HABIT had to teach Evan how to use Twitter, and Alex out-crazies Evan* any day of the week.

*Specifically non-inHABITed Evan

I'd agree, if the comments were not disabled, IG you could argue he doesn't because the interaction we have as an audience is purely twitter based its possible he doesn't know. That being said he was able to track him in early entries, probably using twitter- so never mind.

If I remember correctly, Tim (IG) found out what Jay was doing by typing "Marble Hornets" into ye olde Google machine. If Alex did that, surely the Twitter would also come up, since it's also In-Game.

Semi-related: some folks speculated if we'd see Tim trying reach out to Jay via Twitter since he had the password, unless Jay's changed it since. But it occurred to me that even if Jay did change the password Tim could still talk to him -by getting his own Twitter account and Tweeting to Jay like the rest of us do.

Back to the original subject: whether it's right or not I'm going to amuse myself with the image of Alex sitting in front of a laptop with a frustrated snarl on his face as laments the fact that Jay finally smartened up about telegraphing his moves just when Alex was relying on his stupidity. And then pouting and folding his arms across his chest, and muttering "Must've been Tim's doing". Mr. Green

SilentMedusa: Yeah Alex would google it.

MarbleHornets: I know he is aware of TTA being that he he went after Hoody, but that doesn't mean he had to know about the twitter. I am however convinced now he does probably know about it.

Apologies if this has been covered(and this is kind of a re-port from the "Can we trust Tim" thread) - has anyone tweeted him? I almost think he's inviting input. We may be able to sway him one way or another here.

Unfortunately I doubt this. I tweeted him but I expect no results. It's been painfully long since the MH Twitter has responded to anyone.

Either way, even if Jay did respond, it wouldn't affect his final decision.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Like was said, Trosephim surely have already decided on Jay's next move (almost definitely watching that tape) and he'll take that action no matter what.

I don't think we're supposed to think too hard about the "Is Alex following the YouTube channel?" question. The answer to that will become clear in the coming entries anyway, e.g., if Alex is sufficiently prepared for their arrival.

Assuming Alex was indeed the one who left the note and not Hoody or someone else entirely. The fact that he never once came after them while they were in College Town makes me wonder if Alex may not actually have known where they were.

Right, but what if it's a bait and switch?

It'd be kind of amazing if he knew about the twitter because it used to be linked on the Youtube page, which would, by extension, mean he also knows about the DVD. Then Alex is basically just pursuing Jay for his cut of the profits.

"Putting it on DVD? What were you thinking, Jay!?"

"I was thinking my apartment burned down and my insurance sucks..."

Or maybe Alex knew that there would be a reason for them to go back to Rosswood. Maybe he's known about the tape all along.

Or the fact that Rosswood is clearly the center of this whole mystery and they still never got to the other side of the tunnel, so they're definitely not done there. Yeah, I guess he could've been waiting because he was just too lazy to drive over to College Town, but it still seems odd.

Though I guess it also is odd that it took him so long to find Jay between the original events of 52 (which happened many months before that entry was uploaded) and 64. I'm sure this has been proposed before, but could something be inhibiting Alex from pursuing them too actively (whether he's physically unable to or simply has other business he has to deal with)?

Could you clarify a little? A bait and switch on whose part? Trosephim? Alex? Hoody? Antique Store Lady?

What if the note and picture weren't left by Alex, but by someone else to lure Tim and Jay into a trap?
