I'm sorry, I just don't like Tom Bombadil. He was annoying, cryptic, only showed up one time and was never mentioned again. His bit was stupid and a complete waste of time. You comparing yourself to that character ignited that old hatred. :V

Now, back to the topic at hand.

Jay is a fucking moron and is going to completely regret doing that to Tim. He was overly fucking paranoid and it was so obvious. Dude needs help. A LOT of help. Maybe a long stay in a nice quiet room will help him feel better.


I don't think Jay is being a moron at all. You've to remember: for nearly a year now, he's had to ally himself with someone who could be playing him. Whose to say from Jay's POV that 'Masky' was nothing more then a tactic to frighten Alex and himself? Whose to say Tim doesn't KNOW what's going on? That doesn't know where Jessica is and this is just more manipulative crap he has to deal with? He's had to trust Tim, but he's got all that going in a head which is still reeling from Alex's betrayl and his own guilt for getting Jessica involved who could be dead. However, he's also around someone who actually understands this crazy shit which is happening to him and can help him deal with the burden of dealing with everything - and it's only natural that the two have become close and become friends and Jay has had to come to trust Tim. He's only human after all and needs someone to help share the burden of everything which has happened to him. Jay's also been alone for a very, very long time and is pretty starved for human companionship and it's no suprise he'd open up to Tim like he has, suspicions or not.

And then, Jay wakes up and finds that this guy has been feeding him pills when he was UNCONCIOUS. Pills which weren't prescribed for him and could have long lasting damage. Is he really sick because of Slendy? Or has Tim been drugging him and make and making him more suscepitble to control? Has he been played all along? Is that why he's like what is he is now? Add to the fact that he doesn't want to detoriate and turn into Hoody or become like Masaky. But, he's got to get answers or Jessica could be die and others could get hurt. You can feel Jay's frustration in the car scene, where it's every bit being glad that your with me 'bro and every bit: this fucker is out to get me.

And then he finds that Tim was hiding the tape from him and of course, he'd snap, because, well, who wouldn't? Jay would take this as and that he is and he's just being lead and this was the guy who took Jessica after all, isn't it? It's been a whole game. That and Tim's poorly developed social skills really didn't help. Tim seems to be quite taken with the idea of someone needing him for a change and having someone with similar problems to him. I'm sure there's a whole lot of self loathing about it, but he just doesn't have the social skills to hide it and was written across his face in Entry #75 and to someone who isn't in the know about someone like that, you'd get a real crazy vibe off them. Jay, took this as Tim trying to control him, and of course he snapped. Hell, I'm suprised he didn't do worse to Tim at this point.

Jay isn't a moron, he's human whose had to deal with the near unendurable at this point. He's been alone for a very long time and his only friend from his POV turned out to be messing with him all along.

Sorry, kind of an impassioned post (it's not real Jordan, it's not!)...but I just don't get how anyone could NOT sympasise with Jay at this point Sad Smile



And then, he was unconcious and the guy was feeding him pills while he was UNCONCIOUS. Is he really? Or is Tim making him this way out of some sick need for? Jay has been willing to give Tim the benefit of the doubt, but every time they are together: he's wondering if this guy. But, he's lonely and really needs someone to share the burden or he's going to go crazy. Then, he finds out that and that.

I'm sorry, but Slendy sickness aside and, I'd sure as hell snap and run like Jay would.

I'm sorry, someone feed you pills which WEREN'T prescribed to you, someone with, someone whose and who might just be and you've got to negioiate that with everything else, when you find out that they've been hiding some major on you. If, I'd snap, Slendy sickness aside, it's the most human thing to do in that situation.

Tim's social skills aren't really all that developed - and while the guy was probably hating himself like hell for it - he seems to be quite taken with the idea of helping someone and someone depending on him for once and even a sense of comradeship with having someone who is going through something similar. I'm sure there's a helluva lot of, but he just doesn't have the social skills to hide it and Jay's reaction to the whole situation was incredibly appropiate.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that. Is it so they can't plug their own material? Can they just not post in their own topics, or can they not have an account at all?

So far as I know, that's basically it. They can't plug their own material or try to guide people in the right (or wrong) direction for ARG puzzles. Pretty sure they're allowed to have accounts outside their own topics, though.

 		A time hasn't been scheduled yet. Nothing is set in stone, because Troy is still discussing the matter with Tim and Joseph. But when I say that nothing is set in stone, I mean that things are still in the works. This is going to happen, regardless of how long it takes to get things straightened out. And it's going to be relatively soon.

But for now, you can just listen to ScorpiusPro's "Rosswood" and wander through nature. Be patient!

 		Going back to this Entry, specifically the contents of this new tape.

I've been going back through really old threads for earlier Entries (that's what I do when I'm bored) and I was struck by how most of us here have come to see TiMasky as more badass than scary. Then I had a thought: what if what's on that tape is a brutal reminder of why Jay was -and should STILL be- scared shitless of this guy?

Think about it. If Tim was planning something that required Jay to put more trust in him than ever before, having him see something that would remind Jay of just who he was dealing with -and how fragile his safety around him was if those pills stop working really would ruin everything they've worked for.

Plus, it would probably scare the shit out of us too. Which would be a clever way for Trosephim to say to us, "Kids, Memetic Mutation is bad, mkay?".

This is probably just another wild mass guess on my part. We won't know either way until Jay stops sitting on his hands and gets on with it Evil or Very Mad .

It wouldn't be the first murder on tape we've seen. But I doubt that Tim killed Jessica, I'm not even sure I believe that she's dead at all.

I like this idea, it makes a lot of sense, but would that make 'its something you need to see, but not yet' a out-and-out lie? For some reason, I hope that line is true

Not necessarily. Tim may want to come clean about everything that he's done but with Jay's current mental state, now might not be the best time to do that.

That makes sense. I'm still in the 'Tim can't remember or control masky' so I wouldn't think it would reflect too badly, but I like the idea of the tape proving me wrong AND Masky doing something really scary Razz
