If by "funeral" you mean "wrapped in newspaper and thrown in the gutter" then yes.

That's too much work for Alex, he'll just summon his magical disposal unit.

Too fancy a funeral for such a stupid, useless character who caused so many idiots to believe she was solely responsible for the entirety of the events in the show.

I suppose the question of whether anyone would pay for a better coffin than newspaper is academic.

Also, crazy theory of the day, based on this post:
Quote:
Well he actually said he couldn't even remember what he was doing before all this, which given the context of the series is way creepier and worrisome than anyone seems to give it credit for.

I honestly didn't give much thought to this line originally- my general thought is that he simply didn't have much of a life before this all started (also explaining why he doesn't seem to have anyone to turn to or anyone worried about him). But supposing he did? I'd postulated before at some point that maybe Jay had family or friends and just severed contact with them somewhere arond the end of S1 or start of S2 to keep more people from getting pulled in.

But what if he actually did have family and friends and a life and the reason he doesn't remember and none of them seem to have come looking for him is that they've all been wiped from existence by TO, similar to what implicitly happened to Beardy from 49?

Not necessarily likely, but still. More inclined to lean towards my initial assumption, though.

Jay says in Entry 25 (?) that a "friend" told him to turn on the news. So I think he does have a few friends---but he probably doesn't ever see them in person, and he wouldn't dare mention them on Youtube or Twitter. I think he just wants to keep his friends and family safe, and the only way to do that is to avoid contacting them. Which is pretty depressing

Well, in my theory, the "wiping from existence" part could still happen between seasons. But yeah, as I said, I'm inclined to believe this wasn't the case.

I can't decide which is more depressing- the idea that he doesn't have anyone who cares about him, or the idea that he does and they're out there wondering what the hell happened to him while he can't see them at all until this is over.

And I'm getting the strangest deja vu. Like I've said this exact thing before.

What I don't get is why Jay and Tim keep hiding. If Alex wanted them dead he'd have shot them at the tunnel. The operator is supposed to be the real threat, but no matter where they go he can find them easily. So what's the point of running?

Alex came after Tim with a gun at the hospital and threatened to shoot Jay in 52. While it's possible he doesn't want them dead, it sure looked like it, and if he wants them alive that doesn't mean they'll like whatever he has in store for them.

Basically, would you rather keep on the run and have a half-chance of escaping whatever TO and Alex have in store, or just give up and guarantee that they'll find you? Yes, TO seems to find them wherever they go, but that doesn't necessarily mean they should just give up and lose any hope of escaping.

If you want to argue "What if Alex and TO have good intentions?" that's a different matter, but Jay and Tim have no reason at this point to believe that giving themselves up would yield anything but disaster.

Guys, you're distracting the rest of us from spamming F5 on the MH youtube page!

I've been refreshing the "my subscriptions" page on youtube every couple of minutes and I swear that my Twitter app has never been used so much as it has been in the past week.

you know you can have the app just shoot you a notification whenever MH posts a new tweet, right? if troy bothered to update it when it came out i'd say that would be way better than refreshing youtube, but he generally waits a day or two for some weird reason
