Why the Hell is Ben Afleck playing Batman? Why not just get Christian Bale to do it again?

Because Bale's unwilling, I think, unless Nolan directs again. And Nolan won't direct again.

Eh, wikipedia says otherwise. But I don't always trust wikipedia.

We're treating Affleck the same way we treated Ledger when we learned that he was playing the Joker.

Tsk.

From Buttman to Batman: The Story of Ben Affleck

OT: Watching the MH footage in chronologial order, I'm completely lost as to who TTA could be. Unless the guy hiding in Exit wasn't TTA, or the order I was going off of was incorrect. It also looks like season 3 made an effort to be consistent with the kind of clothes the characters were wearing at the time, which I hadn't noticed before.

Tim Sutton would make for a sweet Batman, come to think of it, and not for Serum-esque fanboy reasons. Already used to acting with a mask on. Could easily do a little Batman voice. Handsome and charming enough to pretend to be a playboy billionaire and get away with it on-screen.

He even has experience in the role. https://twitter.com/whatatroy/status/252533763811188736

Because it's impossible to take his Batman voice seriously.

With all due respect, Mister Digsby, Heath Ledger had proven he was a competent actor prior to playing the Joker. Ben Affleck isn't able to provide those credentials-- and Oscar wins don't count.

He was competent all right, but the Internet simply didn't believe that he was fit for the role based on his previous works.

I'm just saying that Affleck at least deserves a shot before everyone passes judgement. Decent until proven mulchy.

This thread seems to be the best place to post this.

As many of you know, I have been discussing a surprise for Marble Hornets fans with Troy Wagner. Today, Joseph brought up an interesting point that caused us reconsider things.

I am sad to announce that, due to circumstances I am unable to divulge, this event has been postponed and will not take place until after Marble Hornets concludes. Thank you for your time, and have a nature day.

So you're announcing its delay before you announced its intended time and date and even before you announced what "it" is. Interesting.

The only thing I'm getting from all this is that it's probably some sort of live event.

Normally I would agree, but it's Ben Ass-Lick we're talking about.

@Joker: Things are complicated. You'll just have to wait and see.

@Serum: Let's agree to disagree.

I find this whole ordeal very suspicious.

Well then, time to do what MH has taught me to be reasonably good at - waiting.
