I don't think we are going to get anywhere trying to argue if Jessica was breathing or not breathing. One thing I would like to make clear is that throughout the entire series TO has never killed anyone. He has made people disappear and take them to god knows where (operator land which apparently has allot of standing water in it) but the one person who we have witnessed oper-snatched (Tim) was eventually returned to terra normal.

I think it is noteworthy that Tim was actively resisting TO during the entire time he was oper-snatched and that may have contributed to his escape. I don't know if something more sinister happens to those snatched when they are unconscious or presumed dead. Plus if TO can drop someone just by standing there and turning his head menacingly then why didn't he just kill Tim instead of snatching Tim? One could argue that the pills dampen TO's powers but I think all the pills do is prevent the user from being mind controlled by TO. I don't think anyone who has been snatched up to this point is completely out of the picture.

I can't help but think she is alive. My opinion is based on facts as well as hopes. Jessica became a badass, and I would be sad to find out she just died. I do see strong points for both sides of the argument, but it all comes down to my belief that slendy wanted to have a sexy dance party with Jessica to kill homosexual rumors about him having a thing for just dudes (Alex, Jay, Tim, and of course Big Bruce).

Also I'm that guy that ruined the equilibrium of the vote. QUICK SOMEONE VOTE SHE IS DEAD TO PRESERVE NEUTRAL PLANET-NESS.

Personally, I think she's dead. As I said in another thread, Jessica was just a little bit too useful for a horror narrative - she had knowledge of Alex, she was incredibly clever and resourceful - personally, I think she's dead and Jay has a very poor replacement in a man he can't trust.

Why would Tim be so adamant that Jay not see the tape if Jessica was still alive? If she was and had been just slendynapped, Jay would probably be more likely to go balls to the wall in his attempts to save her, which would serve Tim's purposes (whatever the hell they are) just fine. If she's dead, Jay's more likely to just want to walk away, which is obviously what Tim doesn't want. So if she was alive, Tim probably would have shown Jay the tape months ago instead of doing a piss poor job trying to hide it. (In your front pocket, Tim? Really? You truly are an inept villain.)

I think she's still alive, I mean she wasn't killed before she was Slendernapped, at least not on screen, so we can't prove she was actually physically killed. There's a good possibility she got fucked up in the head though, guess we'll find out.

Okay, so here's a cheery thought that occurred to me. Let's say Jessica did live. Since #76 starts just after #32, that would put the events of the entry in mid-January 2011. That's almost 3 years ago. If she's alive, then one of two things would have happened to her.

a) She eventually made her way out of the slendyverse. Odds are she got mindwiped again and ended up in the middle of Rosswood Park somewhere. She already didn't know where she lived so who knows how bad she would have been after a second wipe. She most likely wouldn't have remembered any of the events of the previous couple months, so she wouldn't remember Jay and, more importantly, she wouldn't remember Alex trying to kill her. Twice. And since Alex has this uncanny knack of just randomly popping up, most likely due to his tall, dark and faceless friend, the odds would not be ever in her favor. She'd either end up wandering around with no idea what's going on and with no one to help her or Alex would end up catching up with her.

b) She never made it out of the slendyverse and is still stuck inside. We've seen what happens to a living person who ends up there. Tim was in for all of what, 15 minutes or so? He had a complete mental breakdown and tried to kill himself. After less time than it takes to watch a bad sitcom. She would have been in there for years. Who knows what kind of damage that would do to a person.

So, basically, either way she was kinda screwed. I doubt she would have just gotten away to live a normal life because that hasn't happened to a single person who has gotten even slightly involved in this whole mess. If that's how they try to play it off, like she's living in another state just fine and merry, I would be pretty disappointed.
