INFO & SPEC re: San Diego

Well, I thought I was clever when I got San Diego from the Standing Stones anagram subtraction, but Cem beat me to it! (Good work, Cem!)

Anyway, I then searched on San Diego+Megalith and found something interesting. It's called the La Jolla Project, and apparently resembles Stonehenge.

See http://orpheus.ucsd.edu/va11/hoang/hoang.html for a good description & comparison to Stonehenge (image links broken)
and http://stuartcollection.ucsd.edu/fleischner/ for images of the installation.

I'm wondering if (I know it sounds crazy) it's possible that something game-related could be waiting there. The last two lines in the greywethers.net poem make me wonder..."the method needed all but stares in the eyes of the clever mortal". Yes, the lines could relate to the transmuting of the letters...or, they could relate to another method entirely. Sneaky, if it's the latter.

Maybe it's even a further clue to the U/N P/W scheme.

Just some new things to think about.

Dia

Okay, well here I go with my random portion:

Quote:
2+13.html
2+2=4
1+1=2

This is the one I got, so that's what I've been working on.

Quote:
from the name you choose, remove the pairs
of letters there identical.
if three are there, the third remains
its inclusion will be critical

So, we've established it's the username we're going for:

Numbers:
2, 13, 2, 2, 4, 1, 1, 2

27

Next example:

3+4
5+0=5
4+1=5

3, 4, 5, 0, 5, 4, 1, 5
= 27

In fact, all of them I'm gotten add to 27

So, twentyseven is the username.

Or is it?
Remove the pairs, but if there are three... the third remains
twentyseven
wysve or
weyseve

Depending on whether you take it as "leave the third pair" or "if there are three letters the same, leave the third one"

That's about as far as I can get. No password :S
