Candle Cove was awesome! The first season finale is one of the best episodes of any television show I've ever seen! Never was sure what was the deal with the screaming episode, though. Broadcast musta screwed up or something.

Damn shame they never released that on DVD and don't do reruns anymore. The lack of any real record of the show makes it almost like it never existed

Dude, what are you talking about? I have every episode of Candle Cove on Blu-Ray in the Ultimate Deluxe Collector's Edition box set autographed by "The Skintaker" and the rest of the puppets-- kind of a dumb novelty, I know, but, still, it's cool for the kids. But I've seen it at every video store ever. How can you not find it?

Um, alright. I wasn't even the one who suggested it in the first place, I was just surprised by Jordan's response.

Serum, maybe it's just not available up here in Wisconsin? Which sucks, because that sounds like a longtime fan's dream come true.

Though now that you mention it, there was a DVD release I saw once, but the damn disc didn't work right- all the episodes just played static for 20 minutes straight. Weird shit.

I heard a Wisconsin release might be in the future, they haven't branched out to the midwest, yet, which is peculiar considering that's the area where I think they filmed many episodes (on a closed set of course).

Really static for twenty minutes? Like, white noise static from an old CRT TV? On a DVD? Weird... I've heard urban legends, but-- nah, it's probably nothing.

Bizarrely enough, the same thing happens with the one episode I recorded on VHS from when it was airing. Which is really odd because the VHS didn't used to do that. I'm pretty sure that's not even supposed to happen to old videotapes.

Well, I mean, VHS tapes degrade from generation to generation, was it like, a copy of a copy or something? I don't know about total static though and the DVD thing is just odd.

You know, I know some people who are convinced that Candle Cove wasn't even a real show. People can be so stupid.

I know, right! I mean, I was just in New York a few weeks ago and I saw they had a Broadway Play version of the show at one of the older theaters, I thought it'd closed awhile ago, after those hippie kids disappeared in there in the 80s, but it's good to see them in business again.
