That does look right. Feels like articles of some sort then almost. Safe to assume no dates after now?

Another Authorization I was not getting anywhere with the 4 encoded messages from yesterday so I went back and looked at the other information we had. I started with getting a clean SSTV scan from the 24709047 authorization code which is shown below. I then thought there must be more authorizations so I started trying to send authorization requests to ascendSPLAT outlook.com. I only sent one at a time and waited for a response before trying another but here are the first 3 responses:
BRITTANIA from the 1st coordinates off the video - NO MATCH
NABUYONGO from the 2nd set of coordinates - NO MATCH
FLACON from the datamatrix in the Facebook image - AUTHORISED 18228615
A86-WJCR from 2nd datamatrix on Facebook image -
awaiting response
NO MATCH
I then captured the SSTV from that authorization and attached it below too. It may be worth sending more authorization requests with the other words/phrases we have to see what we get.

More authorization requests Nabuyonga Island is also known as Godsiba, so I sent that as an authorization request. Following response on that, I intend to try Foula, the name of the island in the other set of coordinates.
Will post with results as they come in.

Yay, the words from the video worked!
Now we have 3 new authorization codes:
AUTHORISED/
73673251
AUTHORISED/
98094056
AUTHORISED/
88185291
These were from the words "jagatai", "petuntze", and "eyen". Codes from facebook page were not recognized.

Tried another authorization So given the 3 letters we've obtained I submitted the word TOY as an authorization request. NO MATCHING AUTHORIZATION. It was worth a try.

Nice work! And do you know how many times and ways I ran that first one through SSTV programs? Blank screen every time of course so I thought it was borked!
ETA (so many those on this game so far)

New tweets, one news story:
http://www.commondreams.org/headline/2013/10/04-6
with what should be 6700 as the code, but I'm not having luck even getting the access code (86060353) working today. Maybe it has changed?
Also, a new video with flashes of long strings:

Great idea on the differences! I've not had a chance to look into this and won't be able to do much this week either but will try and keep an eye on this forum and help out when I can.

New FB image with pigpen cipher text:

New article tweeted as well:

6000 would seem to be the code from there. Haven't tried the number again since the previous access code (86060353) was not working for me earlier.

Did you authorize that one? I received a message from Ascend that it had already been authorized when I tried.

No, I didn't. I was busy with work and had thought that the FB ones weren't getting authorization anyway. Hmm, I wonder who received that authorization then.
ALSO , I wish we had whatever the number is now to be able to enter the 4 digits from the article. Not that we've been able to crack what those codes are yet. No luck with the cipher from the last YT video yet either...
