I think the most interesting thing about the entire ARG so far is how wrestling fans have been drawn to the concept.

Well, we wrestling fans, I think, are particularly drawn to types of entertainment like ARGs. We're used to being part of the deception. We're used to being active participants in a narrative through our crowd reactions. We also like to be taken out of our personal realities. In the case of wrestling, we LOVE it when we get the chance to forget that we're watching something that's not strictly "real" and we get to "mark out". This isn't really related to the game. Your statement just got me thinking about the overlap between pro wrestling and ARGs.

I've looked at the PE Instagram pictures. I want to try and destegg them and look for hidden clues. But I've never done it before. That's one reason I'm here - to find tips and tricks from other ARG players to help me with this one.

Well I am not sure if one can hide stuff on instagram pics (some places screw with the pic during upload preventing it working correctly).

We actually have a tutorial and software for it on our site http://www.unfiction.com/dev/tutorial/steg.html

Hmm...next breadcrumb might be in that ashes series. I mean it seems to leave a hanging thread for a "Getting the band back together" set up. And the comics links interesting me.

If this is following the comic I am thinking of all the bits need to fall to be reunited so you could try helping the villains a little bit, by aiding the destruction of the 8 bits you could help them unify as one.

Thanks Jono! We were wondering if the sites alter them too much. I couldn't find anything, but the pictures, especially the one with SJU's banner seemed out of place. I think the Ashes series is actually patterned off the New 52 comics. And your idea is great. I'm totally going to suggest it.

I'm a lifelong pro wrestling fan and RPG-favoring gamer who's been drawn to this kind of thing for ages, but I've never actually sat and considered that there is a rather large overlap between the three. It makes perfect sense.

Better yet, if anyone on this forum is interested in helping out, please do. We're all organized (kind of) here: http://chikara101.proboards.com/ and under the hashtag #IAmChikara Feel free to ask questions and join the Hellenic Air Force if you still can. We need as many eyes on this stuff as we can get.

What I'm looking who PE Jr's following. I'm wondering what the connection is since none of them appear to be wrestling fans. I think there might be an anagram there or some kind of a clue.

Well he has followed some Arg players.

He has our own super awesome @weare2mariners and the also awesome @mrshom3rsimpson.

Both announce themselves as ARG people in their descriptions. Interestingly didn't pick me up and I tend to tweet at Mariners a lot.

There is the account for @lifegospel who says it is for the MMORPG/ARG thingy "The Secret World"

@LeytonStone2012 is a member here but hasn't tweeted since 2010

@KiAntes1 is involved in TwelveTribe a slenderman based ARG.

@veralikesargs is obviously an ARG player.

I think he just searched "ARG" in the twitter tags as you get to this person: @xTobiix he has two tweets but is following a football team in Argentina who of course get shortened to ARG on things.

So I think he just mass searched and thats what came up.

Thanks for the info. One thing about Chikara is that nothing is random and never has been. We think there is something about the capitalized letters. If you take the capital letters of the last two people he's followed, it spells BDK, which is the Brudershaft des Kreuzes. The BDK was a super stable and the "big bad" in 2010-2011.

I know one of our own's been at work trying to get the 25 onboard over at the 101, and at least one person from that number's posted asking WTH was going on.

From the first follow to the last, the capitalized letters in the display names of everyone he's followed: KAVTALAHMTAAA(no capitals)ACJMSSJHAE(no capitals)SMHBFTCLDSNGVMSCSWPBDK.

Interestingly enough, the people with no capitals in their handles are the two mentioned by jono, @weare2mariners and @mrshom3rsimpson, who each have numbers in their names instead. Maybe I'm reading too far into this, but...

KAVTALAHMTAAA
ACJMSSJHAE
SMHBFTCLDSNGVMSCSWPBDK

Split it up using the 2 and 3 as a guide, giving us three separate things to work with. I stink at anagrams, though.

@amberlee0211 isn't an ARG player, so the theory he random-searched to get names might just be shot on the third name in...unless LARP is being counted as ARG.

Sad Hi Salome! Have you shared your twitter handle here? What games have you played or been a part of?

The #IAmCHIKARA thing is just getting going. You can follow along with the Ashes videos, which right now are not intersecting the IRL events, like the November 2nd meet-up in Philadelphia.

This is the first one, and the 4th one is due out next week:

Apologies for assuming, salome! I scrolled through your Twitter a bit earlier today and didn't see anything ARG-related.
