 		Poorly-thought-out-rushed-theory: Hoody successfully took Alex hostage and the reason he was able to do so without consequences is that TO no longer needs Alex- it wants Jay now instead. Either Alex has served his purpose, or his failures to stop Jay and Tim and Hoody led to his being, erm, fired. The reason Alex never chased Jay and Tim to College Town but TO did is that they are no longer cooperating.

Honestly, that makes sense. The whole "he is distorted/you are distorted" could mean that Alex is under Oppy's influence, and now Jay is as well. This could also mean that since Oppy might focus more on Jay, then Alex might be more "human" and able to talk to Hoody/Tim/un-Oppy-ed Jay

 		Just wanna point out that TTA has possibly been alluding to Jessica being in the same area as Bruce from #65 since Surveillance:


Since Surveillance referenced Entry #32, and since File is a response to #76 (via #75) - which references the timespace between Entry #32 and #33 (considering TTA's videos are usually posited as a response to Jay's most recent upload) I think this is a connection that cannot be ignored. Everything is related to Jessica and her disappearance, and where she might have gone.

Granted, it's in the woods, and considering TTA's editing style, it could be regular Rosswood or the possibly unique location from #65 that he's referencing in File:


If this is the case, then I definitely think Tim hiding the tape from Jay was NOT something that TTA wanted, I think that TTA has been trying to emphasize the importance of this location for a while. Wanting #76 to remain hidden seems to run counter to the way TTA has been placing emphasis on different events and locations, specifically this area.

So I would probably say this whole video is directed towards Tim, not Jay, because it seems more like Tim is the one who TTA has reason to be upset with, and therefore call out as "untrusted" or "distorted."

 		What if Alex saw clips of this stuff going on before he first started seeing TO himself irl, and the movie is going to be those tapes that Alex watched.

That is an excellent theory!
But then, why would Hoody/TTA want to go to the Slenderworld instead of taking revenge against Alex, like what Tim most likely wants to do?

I figure that those two goals don't have to be mutually exclusive, one can lead to the other. Perhaps Hoody's looking for a way to get there without having to rely on Alex/he plans to use Alex as his way in?

No real concrete theory on this, I just think that as far as we know both tasks can be accomplished.

I remember this from the #75 thread, and personally, I am onboard. though it begs the question, why didn't Alex attack, he could have blindsided them.

He's proposing that Alex was actually hiding in the corner of his attic when Tim was looking around in it, thereby meaning Alex never left Tim's house at all and the address was a ruse to make them leave.
Seems crazy enough for Alex to attempt, though unlikely.

I'd so love for Alex to break free of Slendy's control and team up with Jay for the ending, pitting Alex and Jay against TTA again, but I just don't think it'll happen at this point.
