Beat me to it. Seriously, I could see that happening. Although I feel like since Jay's already assaulted Tim once, and seems to have convinced himself Tim was involved in Jessica's disappearance, I'm not sure he'd settle for one punch.

But yeah, something tells me something bad's gonna go down. Maybe the return of Masky? We've barely seen the guy this season, and entries where Tim is in Masky mode tend to be among the tensest of the series.

And Tim not answering his phone is very bad, because his behavior in 75 seemed to me like he'd be apologetic and would probably have been trying to reach Jay since 76 to reconcile with him. He has no real reason to be angry at Jay, so if he's not answering it's probably not deliberate.

 		I recall someone speculating that Tim might let the Masky persona take him over. If he's not answering his phone during a time when you'd think he'd be desperate to get in contact with Jay...

 		I was off. this Tweet didn't just show us the story' progressing, it's actually part of the plot! Tim isn't answering his phone. And we're already speculating about why.

On that note, do you think that: a) Tim's busy Masking out, or b) he went to the address alone and found out the hard way that it was, in fact, a trap?

Both possibilities are worrisome, but b) opens the door to a Big Damn Hero moment for Jay, by rescuing Tim.

When I saw that Tim wasn't answering his phone I thought instantly of b), seems pretty likely to me at this point.

 		So the next entry might be Jay heading off to Look for Tim, or a found video of the reason Tim's possibly missing. Or they'll get in contact and #77 will be their meet-up.

But I hope not; after a wait this long, the next entry needs to be something pretty damn big.

I don't know, that seems very EVERYMANHYBRID, and IMO the worst part of EMH is the fact that Slenderman seems to take a backseat in favor of the entity HABIT (who I really didn't care for).

Its possible, but one it would take several entries of explanation to sort out and would be ripping off EMH somewhat.

I didn't know it had been done before because I don't watch EverymanHYBRID or Tribe Twelve or any of the other, lesser Slender Shows.

I haven't seen all of EMH, but from what I've seen of HABIT I like him. And in general, from what I've seen of EMH so far, it seems like it's best viewed as a series which happens to feature Slender Man as one of its antagonists rather than as a straight-up SM series. I've enjoyed what I've seen of it so far using that mindset.


On-Topic: I'd prefer it if Masky is just a standard split personality, just like the kind that exist in the real world. Not an evil spirit, not a "state" which could overtake other people aside from Tim, just an alternate personality of Tim born from his specific disorder and experiences.

 		Since we're talking about it, I agree with Joker; "Masky" should be a regular split personality.

As for the Tweet, I've thought of a few possibilities:

1) They're trolling us, and Tim just lost his phone. I doubt it, but I'd feel bad if I didn't at least mention it.

2) The Operator got him. Unlikely; Tim is a major character, and as such I seriously doubt they'd kill him off-screen.

3) He went to 79 South Creek Rd. alone, and found it was a trap.

4) Tim's out at the moment, but Masky is just waiting for a chance to give Jay one his patented 'welcome back' hugs. This makes me ask whether he (Tim) let Masky take over, or got jumped by TTA, who deprived him of his medication until his other side took over?

5) Hoody/TTA approached Tim openly, they talked, and now they're working together to lure Jay somewhere for some purpose we're not privy to. Again, unlikely; I highly doubt TTA would approach Tim on anything resembling friendly terms after putting out a vid like 'File'.

6) TTA took Tim out because if he won't let Masky out to play, and now can't even protect Jay (because Jay doesn't trust him enough be around him), he's outlived his usefulness.
