Hi, long-time lurker, first-time poster (I'm a wall-scroll now?).

I looked, and couldn't find this anywhere, so I'm posting it. Does anyone else find it intriguing that there are exactly two axons each minute? What this means I don't know, but I can always [SPEC]. It's been proposed before that perhaps we could get conference calls(!). Eventhough this hasn't happened yet, I'm hopeful. In any case, know this: when you answer your axons tomorrow (today?) there's a good chance there's another beekeeper somewhere in the US (the UK and France too) answering another axon at the exact same time (w00t!)

something odd i noticed (because i do weird things like this)

the 11:08 axons aren't in the same group, there are 3 11:05, and there's only one 13:23... i don't know why i'm pointing this out or if it means anything, but it's late... (:

If someone is making an axon list, please include this. Hopefully this time the British won't fail us...

EXCUSE ME?!?!?! Maybe you should check the success rate of the British contingent after the PMs let us set up axons. We have gotten everything except the Sunday axon in Soho (a place you do not want to be alone at during the night, especially with very little public transportation on Sunday nights). You may also want to check the weeks of effort we put into the recipe 3 axon before we gave up on it (incidently, we set up the same axon as the original recipe 3 axon, and it has worked fine once the PMs had the correct information).
[/rant]
Anyway, unless someone is already on the phone when I get there, the Oxford axon will be enhottenated. It looks like there will be a London team as well. So that is half of two wave files accounted for. /me just hopes that it is another "just pick up the phone" day as the Oxford axon is in the first group.

Could anyone be kind enough to give me a gps locator site? W00t there's an axon near me after school, but I'm unsure where it is exactly.

I also am getting a personal call, but it's before I get home and I think the PMs have the wrong number for me.... Crying or Very sad

EDIT: Is there any indication if there'll be a pw for this set? And who'll be transmitting? Melissa? Dana? The flea/Herzog maybe?

EDIT 2: Just realized that if the PMs get the right number for me, my GRANDMOTHER is home Shocked Uh-oh, this might be interesting... Confused

Amen to that! All I've done on Tuesdays for the past 3 months is sit at my work computer and download crazy soundclips. Man. After November 9, I'm actually going to have to start working again.

EDIT: I'm aiming for the 10:33PST Axon with a new recruit in tow. Good Luck everyone!

You tell 'em bcriswell. If you look at the UK thread, it's as long as many of the other ones. We've had two axons at most. We spent weeks chasing after just one to get the _labyrinth open.

No other group has so much effort for so little success! Er...I'll be going now. Embarassed

ditto and ditto and ditto, excepting I'll be sitting at my work computer, downloading crazy soundclips, and transcribing them all as they come in... Confused

Word. Unless Durga or Melissa is gonna lend some assistance [*cough* hint], I've got serious ground to cover on my thesis. Still, I'm actually going to miss the Axon ops. Goodluck today to everyone taking part; let's finish this out with grand success.

In case we need it, can the moderators/admins generate an 11/04 coordination thread?

Do we have someone lined up in St. Louis? 3 locations at 11:30, 11:48, and 11:56. I could do it if necessary, but I've never received a call before so I'm not sure exactly what I'd be doing.

Let me know.

I usually would get them, but I can't this week Sad.

One is in the front of best buy, one is near sports authority that closed, and I don't know the other one.

Boston/Quincy

Unforunately the Boston Axon: 10:18 PST is too far away for me to sneak out of work - 12 minutes in a car to get there and I'd be on foot.

I also can't get to the Quincy Axon: 10:59 PST which I found on Sunday.
If anyone is going after the Quincy one (also labeled as Braintree) drop me an email or a pm. I can tell you which phone it is.

Also - anyone who's going to the spot in Boston tonight, keep your eyes open for a guy reading one of the Halo novels, I'll be around there starting at 6pm EST - no point in going home when I'd just have to turn right back around again.
