Possible trailheads, or just people messing around?
Two different "join the Illuminati" websites I found..

Hey everyone. First off, I'd like to say that I am very new to Unfiction, and to ARG's in general. Thus, I'm sorry if these two sites are old news or have already been discussed elsewhere. I did search the site and didn't find anything related to what I've found - but like I said, I'm a total noob.

Anyway, the other day I found myself in the weird part of the internet, and I came across two different sites, both offering a chance to join the "Illuminati Order". Now, I'm not that smart, but I know that if there really was an illuminati order, they wouldn't make their websites that easy to find, but they weren't asking for money and both has active twitter accounts, which made me think "arg."

The first one I came across was http://www.jointheilluminati.com. This website leads to http://www.illuminatiorder.com (no dash between the words, that's a different site). However, if you try to enter illuminatiorder.com without going through jointheilluminati.com, you just get a static page that basically says "Bavarian order of the illuminati" and nothing more.

Their twitter account is @illuminatiorder.com. Judging from the conversations, it made me think arg because people are vaguely referring to missions and whatnot.. I have tried to write to them, as well as left a comment on their web page, but no response.

The other site I found is http://www.illuminatiofficial.org. This site talks a little about the illuminati's outreach program or some such nonsense, and there is a place where you can join if meet their extreme requirements. Luckily, they don't seem to be validating the requirements, so if you click join youll be asked to enter your first and last name, and email address. Incidentally, you can also get to this by asking to join their newsletter, which is elsewhere on the site. I haven't signed up yet because to make sure it was in play, and not some kind of info collection scam... Their twitter feed is @illuminatiam. Their feed is full of expected illuminati cliches.

I tried to do some digging on this site into the "illuminati citizen outreach coordinator", named Thaddeus Iam. Its obviously a fabricated person, but in the metadata I found a picture of an Asian girl attached to his profile..

Anyway, just wanted to see what you guys thought, or if you'd even seen these before. And again, sorry if this has all been discovered; I'm new, so if I did something wrong please let me know and I will fix it:). Have a good one, and I hope to hear from someone soon![url][/url]
